| Fill up your tanks!! Over the past two days it has gone up 7 cents per gallon and right now currently its up 12 cents per gallon. The street prices you see today wont be here in another day or two. Just passin the word! |

Just passin the word! Hey T-Bone. Just curious - are you looking at your local retail pump price or the wholesale price? The wholesale price of regular went up by about 14 cents today alone (in the cash market, the nearby futures contract rose by 11.6 cents today), and as of today's close was almost 38 cents higher than its recent low (on June 24). If the wholesale price stays here, retail (pump) prices will almost certainly rise more.

| It hasn't kicked it yet. Main driver is traders are saying economy is getting way better and Goldman sachs wants it higher because they need fuel higher. Supply is great! |

| Yeah - the economy has, for the last couple of months, been in what is being termed a "soft patch", which in my view was primarily caused by the rise in gasoline prices earlier this year and supply-chain disruptions from the Japanese earthquake. Last week the economic data started looking better (as supply-chain disruptions get worked through and because gasoline prices came down). Today the ADP employment report showed job growth of 157,000 in June when the market was looking for +70,000. Tomorrow we get the real McCoy - the actual official monthly employment report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. If that report is strong my guess is gasoline prices (wholesale and futures market) will hold their recent gains or even move higher. If tomorrow's employment report is weak, crude oil and gasoline prices will probably give up some of their recent gains. | |

| It's like a Catch 22. Higher gas prices wreck the economy. Bad economic numbers then bring gas prices down. Lower gas prices help the economy improve. Then, when the economy improves, gas prices go back up again. | |

| Yea if tomorrow is good news the traders are going to head back for 4 and over. I've bought every contract I can get today. If it goes up tomorrow I will be back at it. |

| I'm by no means an expert here but I don't see where the economy is anything but terrible. Unemployment at it's best this year was 8.8 in March to 9.1 in May, housing market is terrible, people are losing thier homes left and right guys. So please explain to the dummy here why the speculators on Wall Street want higher fuel prices. Let me have a stab and see if i'm close... It's because they know we have to have it to keep our jobs, homes, food and everything we value. Therefore after they rip our insides outta of our rear end, they get rich!!! Is it anything like that???? | |

Is it anything like that???? I think you are exactly right. Our government wants to take total control of our lives, spread the wealth, etc. Why don't they do something with these oil companys? Oops, I forgot. They are all a bunch of hippie tree huggers that don't want us to be able to afford gas. I could say alot more, but I won't on here.
