| Ok, I'm looking at buying a 4 point harness for the RZR and was wondering what most of you guys have. I've been looking at a set of Crow brand 4 way with pads that's around a 100 bucks. Is that a good price for one? | |

| i bought the dragon fire set for both passenger and driver. to be honest i think they are over kill. i may end up putting my stock belts back on with a pad added to the strap. the main reason i went 4 point was that the stock strap ripped my neck and shoulder up. i figure if i adds some type of padding they may be ok. the 4 points keep you locked and i do mean locked in one position. hell you cant even reach the cup holders. and no, the dragon fire set isnt for sale. | |

| Thanks Jet that helps alot. I've been on the fence about buying them and I think I you helped me make up my mind. Might spend the 100 bucks on something else. | |

| I have 5 point harness. I only wear the lap belt. Like Jet said the shoulder straps really hold you back. I like being able to lean out and see the rock that is about to destroy my tire. | |

Gotta figure out a way to pad the stock belt where it hits the shoulder and neck.

Gotta figure out a way to pad the stock belt where it hits the shoulder and neck. Thats why I want to add the harness. The stock belt rubs my neck. I have been putting the belt behind my back and using the lap part only. After a few hours riding the chast part of the best will rub a hole in your neck! |

| For what it's worth I recently put Simpson 5 points in my Teryx and I like them. They are padded and are comfortable enough, but just be aware that they do take longer to get all hitched up, and (as previously noted by Jetdriverx) they do restrict movement - which is the point of having them I suppose, but it is sometimes inconvenient. For example, I can't reach the parking brake release when I'm all strapped in. That said, I find the hassle worth it - I can actually drive faster than with the stock seat / shoulder because I don't shift around when flying over dips, etc. and stay in the right position for driving. | |

| 90% of the time I just use the lap belt on the dragon fire 4 point harness I agree with GGM even with just the DFR lap belt you have better control. | |

| I installed a set of belts from superatv! They cost around $100.00 shipped. I used them this weekend for the first time and I loved them! They do keep you somewhat restricted to what you can reach but that is the price you pay for safety!!! They are comfortable and don't rub my neck like the stock ones!
Money well spent!!!!!!!! Give HotRodRhino a call and he will hook you up!!!

| I got the Simpson 5 point as well. I really like them once I get them on, however they do take some getting used to and can be a burden sometimes. | |

| If you fasten in the crotch strap, you can't hold a tastey millers product between your legs!!!! But that strap will keep the lap belt from rideing up. If you don't get to durn wild and wooly, you can do with out the strap between your legs. And you have to remember to loosen up the sholder straps before you unbuckle, or it is next to impossiable to get every thing hooked back up. When you get in a tight spot, you can always loosen up the upper straps so that you can lean out and pick up Ger-er-duns apple pie after he drops it!! Then ya just give them a pull and every thing is tightened back up. With a lil bit of practice, you can get strapped back in pretty durn quick. But when in trouble, one lil tug, and the whole set just falls away. My straps are some old ones from out of a winged sprint car, so I had to buy the sholders pads from simpson. You can slide a map, cell phone, mp3, or other small items down inside the pads. I will never go back to those durn factory belts. After a few trips in the pond, creeks, and deep mud holes, they get so that you can't get them un buckled. | |
