| I have had several Polaris ATV's with the same tie rod ends. At first I only got at best a 1000 miles out of a set. Then I got a 6" grease gun and bought the 4" pointed tip for it. Every few hundred miles I would slide the tip under the rubber boot on the shaft and fill it with grease. I would squish it around inside the boot with my fingers and I never replaced one again. They stayed as tight as new for over 2,000 miles. You might want to try this. The grease does two things, it keeps out water and lubricates. | |

| Im asking him because this is the aftermarket thread. I was just seeing if he is talking about the stock or aftermarket ones. Sounds like the stock ones. Also the reason I ask is if u grease the aftermarket ones as well. I would think regardless u should grease them |

Didn't you make your tie rods... Yeah, it'll ruin your day and anyone trying to help you out of the "middle-of-nowhere". Stock one (tubular)broke at the end of the internal thread. Improved one (solid) broke the same way. Here's an old post. https://wvsxsriders.forumotion.com/t3517-finzup-tie-rods | |

| TOne, Bob was talking about greasing the stock ones. The aftermarket don't have a rubber boot. And for what its worth, Bob knows his stuff! | |

| Bubba, It's not a bad thing and I only did it one time. Red was giving me a hard time so I just asked him to read above. Didn't mean anything by it. In this case I was just asking about if u grease the aftermarket ones as well. That's all. I hear ya on the goose buddy. Remember it. |
