| can you folks give some pros and cons on this subject? i cant afford to upgrade right now, but was curious . . . . will light truck tires fit onto a 15 inch atv wheel? i found that you can get a 215-75-15 bfg all terrain and mud terrain hypothetically speaking you could buy one set and have em for life of your ride. not near as aggressive as atv specific tires but a nice all ternative. i did look at the weight aspect of this and found that they are only a few pounds heavier than a maxxis bighorn of the same relative size. i did not put alot of time into reading, but enough that i got me thinking. had to do something while i pretended to watch tv with the wife | |

| If you try this, get the mud terrains not ATs. The only thing that may not work with this is that the sidewalls may be way to stiff for the weight of a sxs. But, I've had two sets of BFGs on my truck, and the sidewalls bulged way more than any other tire at any psi. I think you should just buy some bighorns and call it a day. They do seem to wear very well. I think the truck tires will slip and slide when you really don't want them to because of the harder rubber compound, or maybe not. I would say you would be taking a chance trying it, but it may be worth it. They would dry rot off the thing before you would ever wear them out for sure. | |

| I would try the 14's first just for the weight factor you would probably need to think about the wheel width for mounting street tires | |

| If I remember right they make 14 and 15 inch super swampers. I've seen on other forums where guys run truck tires. | |

| I'm with Hump on this. I would think that the sidewalls would be too stiff and kill your ride. If your wanting to save some money...give Carolinarhino a shout. He bought new 26" tires for his Rhino for around $250.00 at a tire shop here in town. Those tires have done real well. | |
