Found this on another Forum site worth checking out no matter what year rzr you have:

the circuit breaker in the wiring harness that controls the cooling fan corroded out on me in 37 hrs. It was located under the battery box between the skidplate. I relocated it, installed a new CB and treated with corrosion preventative. I have been hearing this is happening to alot of the 2011 RZR's. Simple porcedure to do yourself took me about 2 hrs form start to finish. 1 month out of warranty so of course the dealer would do nothing for me. Get it looked at before it goes out of warranty because this part WILL fail, just a matter of time.

Good info. Thanks. I will have to check mine. I had to remove my shift cable do to water getting into it and seizing up. So you may want to check it also for moisture. Pulled mine out hung it up from one end, slid the boot back and sprayed it with lube.
