| Well, my luck seems to stay the same. I couldn't get my gen set to start in the toy hauler last week. After lookin and pokein around, it would seem that it has no compression. The valves seem to be working and are set at the right adjustment. Put your finger in the spark plug hole and it just don't try to push your finger out of there. Any body want to come on down and pull that thing out so I can look at the rings and head gasket???? And my rear axle seals are out again! But at least I've changed enough of them to get that job done pretty quick, but that durn crummy Generac gen set not genning is about to cause me to pull out what lil hair I got left. | |

| Wow!! Rear axle seals!! Is that a problem on the RZR'S?? Get you a diesel generator and all your worries will be gone!!
Sounds like you may have a small piece of carbon stuck under a valve! I have seen that on some of the twin cyl briggs! Thats the truth!!!!!

| Well, it just keeps comeing!! I went to move the toy hauler to the other end of the hosue so I could plug it in and pre cool the reefer. The Big Red Rocket started kinda funny, went about 30 feet and died. Checked wires, fuses, and have decided that my FASS pump that is under the bed has given up and won't pump any fuel. I'm getting current to it, and I even grounded it with my jumper cables, but no go. So, I guess I ain't in as big a hurry as I thought to get the rear axle seals put in the Joker. Was gonna leave tomorrow to go back up to Ocala. That Miller Lite is starting to look mighty tempting!! &%$@@#%(^%$ the bad luck. | |

It is misting rain here and the rest of the group is heading up to Ocala without me. I hope a big black bear grabs them and that the old red neckey bar burns to the ground.

| Welp, I got it pinned down to a blown head gasket. One of the head bolts wasn't tight enough. I got all of those blasted panels that cover up the motor off. Got the intake and head loosened up, but the exhaust is giveing me fits. Got one bolt loose, but the other allen head bolt is right above the tube frame. I'm gonna try to take the whole muffler off can see if I can slide the head off with the head pipe still hooked up. And the Gators are actually ahead of the Dawgs!!! Go Gators Go!!! CHOMP CHOMP | |

| A pal helped me pull the whole gen set out of the camper today. We got the head off and found a valve seat had slipped so far that the valve wouldn't close. Am going to Ocala tomorrow and see if I can find a place to price out a new head for it. I looked on the web site for dealers, and the few that answered the phone don't sound any brighter than I am!!! I'm sure that tomorrow is going to cause me some more grief. | |
