Thanks for all the prayers guys. My Dad and my Mom need it right now. Some how my dad had gotten a severe infection in his knee that he had replaced about 6 years ago. Had to go into emergency surgery last night just to remove the infection. Doctor said it is the worst he has ever seen Spent most of the day with him today he seems to be doing well but will have to have several more surgerys. He is in Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem NC so he is in good hands. He will heal up soon, he's the toughest man i know.

That's a great hospital. I am glad he is doing better. I hate to hear of his issue but glad it is working out. Hang in there and I will keep sending my prayers!

Sandbuggy, hope things work out ok for your dad and family.
The ride was pretty good except for me forgetting my gloves. Borrowed a pair from a fellow named Duke. Nice medium steady pace all day. Ended up going through Pinnacle creek camp ground and taking the first left up round mountain. I think that's what it's called. Thought about you Bubba as we passed through. Finished the ride by coming out at the blue building and taking the hardtop back to Matoaka. Started at nine am and finished at around 430 Pm. Met Muddy Mark. Pretty neat character. He has a good cause there, which I understand has been going on for six years. Maybe more forum members could get involved next year. It pisses me off to think that the United States sends all this foreign aid over seas when we don't take care of our own. Don't know what the answer is. I will do the ride again next year.
