here is the link to the heater i am thinking seriously about adding to the teryx. by suggestion.
my questions is about the draw on the electrical system and if it can handle the load.
3-speed operation: 172 CFM (3.9-amp draw) 228CFM (5-amp drow) 263 CFM (7.7-amp draw)
what do you guys think | |

| Hmmmmm, That doesn't seem to be much in the way of heat. Power in the term of watts is only 92.4 watts on high. The formula is P=I*E where P= watts, I= Amps, E=voltage. 7.7*12=92.4 | |

| Oh ok I didn't open the link. That shouldn't be bad then. On high thats about the same as running 2 halogen lights, if I remember right halogens are 55 watts each. | |

| i am thinking under my hood is good not sure about routing yet. should help in summer too? if i could make a bracket on the upper frame rails and then route the vents through the access panel in the "firewall" it would be less cutting of plastic and stuff. | |

| I have the jc Whitney heater n love it, wish it had more btu's at low speed but it beats that other one with 12000 btu's. I've had it 2 years no problem, for 59.99 u get what u pay for (junk) spend the 181.00 n you'll be happy not pissed. | |

| For winter riding I used to use a canvas army tarp to make a roof out of and ran it back to back pf the bed and just the heat from the motor was enough to keep it warm...and that was without doors... | |
