| Ok so I have decided I need to put a harness installed on my RZR. I went riding thursday thru today and ended up rolling my Rzr on Friday. I didn't have a seatbelt on because it was frozen from going through streams the day before. I'm just a little bruised from getting tossed on the ground out the right side, had my helmet on so all is good. I have read a lot of posts about differnt harnesses but what do you guys suggest and why. Also I am concerned with the size Im not a small guy the stock seatbelt just fits. | |

| I was going to go with a set from Superatv....they seem to be at a reasonable price....but I guess you vet what you pay for also... they have to be better than the stock ones. Mine always freeze also and never stay latched..you could be riding down the trail and next thing you know your seatbelt is just dangling...funny thong is the only time I roll my rzr is when I am wearing helmet and seat belt must ne lime a false sense of security or something.... | |

| Seat belts are a touchy subject on here Opelgt73!! You will find out that most of the guys will tell you to buy what ever brand they have in their machine. Do some research and make your own decision! Any aftermarket 4 or 5pt harness is better then the stock crap they put in at the factory! | |

| While looking bear in mind how they attach to the machine (do you have to weld tabs or not)?
The other thing I would look at is what kind of latch they have (will they get clogged up with mud)?

| It will be interesting to see what the issue is. If they are comfortable.....buckle good and do a good job then thats all I am after. Since people said they are no good it has me looking elsewhere. I would like to see though. |

4 points would look killer in that Commander T-Bone! Quick question, doesn't Can-Am have a sensor that limits your speed to 10mph if the seat belt isn't buckled? Is there some way to override that?

| Yes.....its in the seat belt buckle. All you do is take the screws out and remove the back plate. After that turn the switch around where its always triggered. You just flip the switch over and put the backplate back on the buckle thing. Waah laah! Never again will there be a seat belt alarm. Did it the first day I got it.
To add them harnesses I will have to add that bar for them. On a rzr u already have one but can am doesnt so u have to pick one up on the aftermarket. |

I have the 3" padded belts from DJ Safety and love them. Very comfortable, easy to adjust, and easy to get on and off. I would highly recommend that you get a set with the clip on the sternum strap instead of velcro. The velcro gets weak and won't hold after just a few days. I bought mine from sxs sports, they were $78 each shipped back then, I'm sure they are more now though. Good luck!
Great looking belts Purn...
