| Just kind of curious as to how many people on here has actually taken the spacer out of their clutch to get a few extra mph on the top end. Any ill effects? Complaints? Concerns? | |

| I took mine out. Helped on the top end some. It eliminates any engine braking. I like it though |

| The spacer/washer does not affect engine brakeing!!!! Takeing it out should give ya about 4 to 5 mph more on top end. AND it doesn't affect engine brakeing. Just give Dale at Dirty Dog Performance a call and ask him. He is the man in the know about po po clutches. He knows his stuff, as opposed to somebody just makeing a wild guess!!!! | |

| Ok I will explain more. Apparently Mr dictionary is upset.
When I took mine out it got a little more out of the top end. When I let off the throttle going down a hill, the clutch would release and start to free wheel.
Maybe mine was diff but that was the result after I pulled mine and I know because I did it.

| When going downhill, if ya just give it a lil gas, with or without the spacer, it will make the engine brake work. Try it. | |

| Before I pulled it, the brake would hold for brake control. After I pulled it, the thing would free roll very easily. It's just what I noticed. Zach the mechanic at world class told me it could change it. I just took from what he said. Yea if I need the brake I just try to give some gas. |

| I tap the gas occasionally but I'm leaning more toward using the brakes now. I would rather wear the brake pads out first than something in the driveline. | |
