Ride Grayson lake

every time i go boating at Grayson lake in KY i see people riding. has any one ever ridden there, and do you know were the trail heads might be?

I think that is LOCALS only I will check with inlaws to find out if they infact have trails for any one to ride

I've ridden there several years ago with some of the locals that I was working with. We rode from Hitchens, to the lake and I don't know where else. There is a lot of riding in that area (strip mines, logging roads, gas and power right of way's, unimproved roads, etc. Far as I know it's open to anyone, don't remember any postings for private property.

ya thats what im looking for. thats a beautiful lake and area. lots of cliff's to jump! well your not supposed to do that any more either . we go there on the boat. i just need to hook up with a local that knows the area.

Matt, get it lined out and I might be down for a ride there later on in the year. That should be less than 3 hrs from where I will be stationed.

ill do it brother. i rode dirt bikes last week with a guy who lives in that area. he is going to show me some trails up there. ill see if there any good for the rzr

I can show the Rush side, when i get a chance. There used to be trails from Rush to Hitchens, but that section was logged and pretty much cleared those trails.

you going to make it down to wagon wheel this weekend? you could drive down early sat. and drive back if your tight on time. i have done that before. its going to be alot of fun. im leaving after work on thur.

No, prior family commitments on saturday. I'm trying to get some friends together for Waterways on Sunday.
