Well first off I will never recommend Country Roads Grocery and their link will be removed from this site and if any one ever post that business on here it will be deleted lol!

I called them last week just wanting a $40.00 room they had listed on their web site and they did not have any rooms booked at all so the lady said how about the second floor apt that is $60.00 a night and I said no I just want a $40.00 room so she finally said how about $30.00 for the second floor apt and well that is a deal sure I will take it.Then she tells me they did not want to have to turn the water on and to the 3rd floor rooms and heat that floor so no problem that works for both of us.Well I call Thursday after 12:00pm noon on my way to Barry's house to pick him up and head that way and I called to find out if there was a microwave or what else was in the apt we had to use.She tells me that we will now be on the 3rd floor because a larger group called and they gave them what I was suppose to get scratch so I questioned her how do you do someone like that after I had that deal last week and they had no other people staying there and now just give our room away.I said how do you run a business like that I don't see how you tell someone something a week ago and up and change it on them.She said do you want to talk to the owner and I said yes so he got on the phone and I explained to him I called last week and was give the 2nd floor apt and now they give it to someone else and how do you run a business like that .Well he told me if I did not like it then don't take it and don't call back and hung up on me.So I said he will never get any of my business and I started calling other places and ended up staying at Brawell ATV Resort which was great and affordable and clean.


Myself,Geterdun & Barry arrived at Bramwell Atv Resort about 3:00pm on Thursday and unloaded and dressed to ride in the rain so we rode 22 miles in the rain til dark on Thursday.

Friday we rode 110 miles and did lot's of exploring and I tore my pass side fender flare and fender off No

Saturday started out with Barry blowing his belt and while he was changing it Geterdun heard Tiger Rag on the radio as he and Nc Grizz was at the stairsteps and somehow got left behind with the group they were riding with so they came down and met us where Barry was changing his belt and once the belt was changed they rode with us for a while until NC Grizz had a axle boot issue on his Rhino so they had to leave us and head back to camp so it was just myself,Geterdun & Barry again and we ran into Shawn and his group a couple of times.We also talked to some riders from Missouri & Connecticut and Rodger a member on here and his group.We had just got back to the hard road at dark and Barry's drive shaft broke so we were just a mile or two from the truck so we went back to get it with the trailer and we ended up with over 100 miles in for Saturday.

Nice pic's Bobby. We've stop by there a few times for the girls to get some of those Bootlegger wine coolers and talked to them and also kept getting different rate quotes and such for the rooms. Hard to do business with people that change everything to suit them. Been different if they had of contact you and discussed a solution before hand.

Cool pics Bobby!

That group on Friday left me and LILWILL too.

LILWILL had an overheating issue on his new Can Am and I pulled over to help him. About 10 of them went past us and one of the Goldsboro's dads about ran over me trying to get by me. Well They abandoned us and we ended up finding our way back on out own. We waited a long while but nobody came back.

I needed to ride with our members so Saturday I rode with Sandbuggy, MuddyMark, and Prarie Dog. THEY WERE GREAT AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME! 3-9,10-2012 131395

I had a flat tire and like clockwork they came back and helped. It was geat to ride with some of our members!

Not everyone in this sport has good values ... Choose who you go into the woods with carefully , that might be the last person you see... JMO ...

I agree Bobby and Punder.

I dont think the originators knew that we got left. At the end of the day they should of checked to see if we were back.
The friends that came with them did in fact see us and did not care.

It was a breath of fresh air to ride with some great members!

Bobby looks like yall had some great riding even with all the setbacks you had. We ended up not getting up at ashland until around 4:30 on friday evening rode about 20-25 miles friday and ended up putting about 80 something on saturday. Where we was headed turned out to be a no go. The mining company had it blocked off we had to turn around and ride H/M trails most of the day on Saturday. Tbone it was a pleasure to have you and Mark riding with us. We never mind riding with people that can keep a good pace. And you will never have to worry about being left in the woods with us we may get a ways ahead of you before we realize you are not behind us, but we will always come back to check and make sure everyone gets back safely.

Thanks sand buggy! If I would of had the commander I would of not had to stop those couple of times.

The xp is side lined for a while. I am rushing to get the commander done. The next time I ride, the commander is going wether she's ready or not.

I was in that area this past week end. On saturday I said to some of my riding partners. I bet we see a 100 machines today. A fellow said no I dont think we will see that many. I said i bet we do. About 10 minutes later we were waiting at the bottom of a hill and here came a convoy over the top. They kept coming and coming. I counted almost 50. I bet a bunch were from here. The total for the day was 110. :)

The friends that came with them did in fact see us and did not care.

It was a breath of fresh air to ride with some great members!
We rode with that group sat and it was every man for himself...me and 3 sxs and a fourwheeler ended up setting our own pace and had an 3-9,10-2012 231577 ride...

By the way, Thank You to "GetErDone"! Kevin, thanks for checking in with us on the radio since we got left before leaving the parking lot having to do a little wrenching on Steve's before we left the parking lot. Really glad you have the high watt 40w radio and I was thrilled having my 25w finally installed to talk back to you. Worked out great until Steve decided to wrestle with a stick with the boot of his CV. Oh well, we didn't have to tow it back and still got some riding in.

BTW, Steve's new trailer worked out great. He needs a little more heat as we were a little chilly Friday night with temps down in the 20's but comfortable Saturday night. For a first time outing, it worked out great.
