| I have been doing alot of debating lately. Dont get me wrong, I love my xp but I am seriously considering ditching it and going back to a S model. As much as I get to ride which is maybe 3 times a year, having this racecar sitting in my garage isnt doing me any good. Its considered high risk to insure according to state farm so thats expensive. Its a 2012 red xp and I do have some equity in it. I would kinda like to get some feedback on what you guys think. If I could take my accessories off and get between 14500 to 15000 I would be happy. | |

| Hard to believe you live in Crab Orchard and only get to ride 3 times a year I think I would change careers I did not know the insurance was that much higher on a XP but mine jumped quite a bit just going from a standard RZR to an S

| Well I ride more just around the house. I just kick myself in the ass sometimes for paying 16 grand for a machine that does the same thing as any other rzr. My insurance is about 75 a month for full coverage. 500 deductable | |

| I just bought a 2012 red XP in February. I only paid 14800 for it. Unless you leave quite a bit of accessories on it you will probably have a hard time selling it at that price. To bad these machines don't appreciate. | |

| I still have my RZR 800 and I have about $8000.00 just in accessories on it. When/if I sell it I have no idea what to ask for it. I will probably sell some of the accessories seperate. I figure the machine alone is worth $7000.00. Figure I'd be lucky to get $2000.00 out of all those accessories. Oh well you gotta pay to play | |

| Wow you got me beat! I agree, you gotta pay to play. If I didnt spend it on play toys, I would waste it on something else. | |

OUCH!!! I pay a little over $200 a year for my "S" through Allstate, 250 deductible with added gap insurance for the accessories. My total coverage is $20,000. Granted, I bundle everything together, (car, home, and life), for a better rate. Just my .02 but I believe I would shop around for cheaper insurance!

| Keep the xp. I sold my 800 to go to the new motor. Since Pooplaris wants that set up, I felt it was time to go with the new technology. |

You're paying way too much for your insurance. I have mine through Progressive, full coverage, $1000 deductible, $5000 accessory coverage, and I pay less than $400 a year.

| I see you are 25 yrs old. Your insurance should come down a little at 25, mine did. You shouldn't be considered a risk due to your age anymore. If you have a good driving record, you need to shop around for cheaper insurance. Alstate and State Farm are the two highest I know of. You are getting raped!
I'm paying like $17 or 18/month with $500 deductable on my S. Don't get rid of your machine, get rid of your insurance agent.

| Mine was totaled a few weeks ago. The accessory coverage is junk. Ins contacted popo dealer n asked what they would pay to purchase before wreck. Not even half of value of accessories! Damn shame, to date payed 7 thou for rzr, have 15 thou in accessories n upgrades, that is with getting alot of stuff at cost. I would not buy new, n probably never will. New xp 18 or better then accessories, 30 thou easily, buy used n rebuild, but ins a must, saved my bank account. Just my 2 cents worth. | |

I'm sure you can sell it but stick it on e-bay that is where I always sell mine when I'm done with them.

| I guarantee if you went to my local dealer, they probably wouldnt sell you one for under 16 grand. You cant deal with any dealer here in Beckley. Im gonna make a few calls to some insurance agents tomorow | |

Find someone that sells Westfield Insurance, that's who I have. If you don't have accidents or bad tickets on your record, they will be about the cheapest. I can tell you that they are great to deal with if you have a claim. I had them for just 5 months when a tree fell on my Tacoma, crushing the bed, and bending the frame. I told them where I wanted it fixed, and they said "we are good with that shop, his estimate is all we need". It was a $6000 repair, and they took care of me with no questions. With a $500 deductable on everything I pay $168/month for full coverage on my rzr-s, 2011 Jeep JK, 2005 Taco, and the state minimum on a 88 Toyota pickup. I had Nationwide for years, and they had me paying that for just my Tacoma alone right before I switched.
