base. "S" or LE "S" model

My brother is getting one and I am trying to talk him into the LE 800 S.

Help tell him pros and cons

Need to know what's the most important modification you guys did

Below is what the LE model RZR has over the standard S

• Maxxis Bighorn tires on 12" black Crusher aluminum rims
  
• Custom cut & sew black & orange madness seats with RZR emblem
  
• Orange Madness painted dash and rear panel with Gloss Black hood
  
• Color matched front and rear suspension springs
  
• Custom RZR S graphics package
  
• Premium Fox Podium X shocks
  

Get the LE. The shocks and tires make it well worth the extra money. Then, you also get the paint job, graphics, and nicer seats. My theory is, once you spend that kind of money, you may as well go all out and get the upgraded model. It won't be that much of a difference in the payment.

Number 1 mod for a S would be doors. Even going real slow, you will get soaked from water/mud flying off the front tires.

LE-S the standard RZR suspension suks, new shocks are my next major upgrade

Ben, shocks are worth the price alone so go for the LE for sure... doors are a must like Chris says, to keep mud off of you. If you upgrade to the wider option wheels you will want extended fenders too for the same reason... flying mud. Rear curtain or plexiglass helps keep mud off you too!

if your riding in a teryx you dont get all that mud on you

Yeah i drive a dodge cause i would rather be cummin than stroken lol. I am going to get the base rzr s i love the teryx but i think a rzr would b fun as well.

i went with the S LE--the shocks upgrade makes it worth the price

get the LE just for the shocks. most dealers will stick the bighorns on with a lil talking.

but the shocks are by far worth the diffrence. and the first mod needs to be a pr of XP front flares and mud flaps. there a direct bolt on to the RZR S and keep all the mud and water off of ya.
