Rat RZR

Some of us more mature (ahem) riders know that a Rat Rod is - "built, not bought", a garage beer cooler brain-child, functional but not perfect and "done when it runs". I started this project a couple months ago.

Front suspension is rebuilt and "bump- steered". New cage is built and painted. New plastic still in the box. Engine & clutch work under way. Hope I remember how it goes back together.

Looks good so far....Just remember....it aint a true RAT ROD unless it has a little rust and a hole or two in the floor. .....Keep up the good work and keep us posted on the progress.

That thing better have a Hurst T handle, or 8 ball shift knob on it when it's done.

Sweet work Steve! Best way to really get to know your ride too! Get under it, over it, inside it, etc... nice! Gonna do that myself one day!

Woodrow, where did you get your spare tire cover? Is that full size 26" spare? Has it helped keep the mud cleaning on the spare down some? Seems like I spend a lot of time cleaning that spare, not to mention getting pretty muddy myself accessing the bed storage when riding. Sorry for the thread hijack, but just had to ask.

I know. Can't wait to get done. Plastic is silver. The farther I drill down, the more I find to fix. Got broken bolts in the tranny and rear dif fixed today. Drive clutch may be an issue. If anyone knows of a good used source, please let me know.

Engine upgrade is by JBS and Zforce.
