| Well I will say that the ride is far more superior to the xp, i have rode and drove the 900,it is an awesome machine,I guess it boils down to what you want to do with it,I know that the roughest terrain is smooth as can be in mine and I have had plenty of good comments that it looks so smooth and it is, and the accesories are filtering in as well, plenty of power, ground clearance,p.s. I am well pleased |

| I would buy a Wildcat after putting over 80 miles on one last Saturday and also driving the XP 900 My next sxs will be a Wildcat unless something better comes out.
Better ride, better seats, longer wheel base jand you sit 5" lower in the Cat.just watch the videos on the Arctic Cat web site

| Guys I haven't got to see a a Cat in action. Why do you think the ride is so much better? Is it just the wheel travel or are the shocks that much better or something else also? Also how is the mud protection in a Cat? Looks like you would take a shower in one every time you ride it. Can't wait to see one in action. | |

| How do you feel about having to manage face pain? If you get the XP 900 you'll grin until your face hurts. | |

| I've got an XP4 and love it. Just told Rick Lilly the other day I'd like to see the grin on my face everytime I ride in it. I got the 4-seater so I could haul both kids and the wife, but if I'd only been considering a 2-seater the Wildcat woulda been in play... good looking ride. | |

The longer wheel base and more suspension travel 18"in rear 17" in front also comes with power steering and the seats suck in a RZR compared to the Wildcat. As for the mud protection they sell flares for that or Wildcat1 on here made his own and they look great. The Transmission shifts much smoother too in the Cat.

| As Thunter points out, I have power steering on my XP (it came included with the LE Voodoo Blue). What can I tell you? The power steering is great. It's variable - the faster you go the less power assist applied. One of the original knocks against XP's was the steering at low speeds. Then they changed the geometry up front and that supposedly helped. Power steering makes all that a moot point.
The only XP I have ever driven is mine, so I don't have anything (other than my 2009 Teryx without power steering) to compare it to, but I really like the power steering on mine - great at any speed and a breeze to turn the wheels even when just sitting still. I would think the main reason you would want power streering IS for trail riding (as opposed to high-speed riding like out West in the desert). Is it worth the extra dough? I think so but that really depends on how much you want and / or can afford to spend. Good luck on making your decision!

| I will chime in on this one. My XP is a 2012 and it has the geometry changed in the steering. I dont feel like its necessary. I will say though the power steering is a nice feature. Can I love without it? Sure. My commander is alot harder to turn than the xp. Now it may need power steering. If GGM here has good luck with his I may add it to my XP.
I was going to buy a wildcat and try power steering when I got it. I decided to not do a Wildcat though. For me there were too many cons vs the pros. They are a nice machine though. |

| I'm not a Polaris guy but I really like mine so far. I've got over 300 miles on it and has done nothing but please me. It's the all around package I've been looking for. I debated on waiting on the Wildcat but decided I'd waste one year's riding season (I mostly ride December to April), and I'm not confident in AC's dealer support network which has been their achilles heel in the past. Hopefully the AC proves itself to be a reliable option in the high performance SxS market. The suspension looks awesome and I'm sure is better than the XP's. That said, the XP's is so good, I can't think you'd ever miss the suspension of the AC if you went XP.
I've bent both A arms on my XP slightly. Not enough to warrant taking them off, but still, they are slightly bowed. I'm changing them out to high radius A-arms, just haven't gotten that completed yet....maybe this week. Rear radius arms are also prone to being bent.....the suspension is wide and you've got a lot of real estate in the arms that can be hit by the rocks. I'll say this, I never felt the arms bend, the suspension soaked it up. It is impressive.
The only other things I've read are if you put big tires you risk breaking the reverse chain if you gas it hard in reverse. Also regarding big tires, you risk breaking rear axles. Not that uncommon when you go mudding. You play in the mud, you will have to pay because you will break parts....on any machine.
All in all, knock on wood, mine has been very impressive, and very fun! I can't really bad mouth it even though it is a Polaris. Popo has a home run on this machine.
Oh and any video I've seen, the XP has more power than the Wildcat. I doubt you'd feel underpowered on the East Coast anywhere with the AC though. The dunes is where it shows in hill climbs. Now, in other duner video's, the AC is going to be more impressive in the whoops and bumps with longer travel suspension.
The only other thing I can thing to consider is aftermarket parts. There are tons of aftermarket stuff out there for the XP as most of the body hasn't changed from the standard RZR. Accessorize to your hearts content.

| Well like i said i gotta call on the 18th to verify shipment. They have a base red one coming and a silver one....i am thinking the silver for the painted plastic but also i like the baja cross tires btr and look like will be btr than the tires on the base model. | |

| Love the power steering. Drive most of the time with just one hand on the wheel. Makes it easier to hold the Miller Lite in the other. | |
