| How difficult is it to change a front axle on the trail? Mine is making a poping noise in the frontend when you turn right, and I'm afraid I'm going to pop an axle while I'm ridding. I'm going to carry an extra one with me next time I ride. | |

| Mine was doin the same thing i took it in to the shop and all it was they had to put shims behind the hub.The hubs were cut to short and they shim them to take up the slack i thought my axle was going bad but that is all it was hasn't did it since. | |

| Is it because of the lift? | |

| the hardest part on changing the axle will be breaking the nut loose at the hub and then taking the ball joints loose. the way i would do it on the rhino is to unbolt the a-arms from the frame and not mess with the ball joints but to do that on the rzr you must take the front plastic piece off witch is not a hard job as long as you dont have a bumper. i would not do it on the trail , i would drive it back to camp and change it there. |

| I think its a wheel bearing and not an axle. there is some play in the wheel when you wiggle it. it also looks like the bushings are bad too. will a bearing make that knocking noise? i only have 600 miles on it. | |
