rzr bushings

how many of you have changed the bushings on your rzr?





all the a-arm bushing on mine are shot. i have been replacing them tonight. the bushings are a joke on the rzr. there just cheap plastic there to just take up space. i hope i will be able to find some aftermarket bushings next time.


it was a pain in the a$$ for me to change because of the bumper that had to come off. but after that was not bad at all. but i was not able to change the ones on the lower rear because of the cv housing on the axle was in the way and i could not get the bolt out. and i did not want to risk breaking the clip that holds the axle in the diff. so i will change them in a week or so.

10-4 on finding something a little better... Are you going to set your tow out a 1/8" to 1/4" this time?

on rzr.net a guy sells a replacement set made of delrin , supposed to last much longer than stock. bush did you keep them greased? they look dry in the pic.

Gunrunner, How often do you grease yours?

i greased them alot. after every long ride, and after every wash. the grease in inside the bushings mostly but i had not greased it since i rode the wagon wheel 2 weeks ago because i knew i would be changing them.

i wish i known about a set of aftermarket ones. guess that is what i get for not looking.

I grease mine after every other ride, also since the ones on the wheel side at the rear have no zerks i remove the bolts from time to time and put anti-seize along with a`good marine grease on the bolts too. I read about guys doing this on rzr.net and some have several k miles on theirs and the bushings are still fine. I noticed the first time i did it, water pushed out of the bushings when i pumped grease in.

they are saying not to grease them. i dont know how that would work.

Hey Bush....How did your bolts look... The dealer changed mine under the extended warranty and put new bolts and all in. I will get the Delrin ones when they quit replacing them...

some of the rods looked new and others was in bad shape. i just used some sandpaper on them ans stuck them back in. i coated everything with grease and put it back together

they are on side by side for 185 a set which is front and rear had to replace my top ones on front 2300 miles greased after every ride dont think you grease those new ones

I know on the sportsman , they got away from grease cause it attracted the dirt , causing wear .....

The delrin plastic is said to be extremely durable and self lubricating.

I'll be buying a set soon. My fronts have been replaced under warranty so I'll be doing the rears soon.

Mark, how many miles did you get out of the fronts? I need to do mine. Scott told me greasing those is very important...

Jeff, you don't need to worry about yours for a while. I've got right 2k on mine.

I meant I need to grease mine :) I would be making calls if they were shot at 300 miles :)

Your next investment will be springs if you keep this one very long!

I keep hearing about the delrin bushings but has anyone checked out the SuperTuff ones ?
They are made from a material far superior the delrin and come with the steels also. They have been around for over 10 years.

I have tried the Delrin bushings. They didn't seem to work any better. The inner sleeve is what is wearing. I even had some sleeves made out of stainless steel. Still wearing out.

Your bushing are wearing out due to all the extra stress put in them when you roll it onto its side!

where are all of these grease points on a rzr?? I only see two on the top of the arms.
