| To make a long story short..... According to Elmo15.... There wasn't a rock in the bottom of the little mud puddle that he entered going way to slow..... Anyway.... now my left lower a-arm is bent (actually took out some of the bend near ball joint) enough that the wheel leans in about 3 inches at top. So tomorrow it is off to the shop and hope they have one in stock so I can ride for the next 2 weeks that I took vacation to go riding.....

Will keep that in mind, thanks took off lift, wheel spacers and put original tires back on.... hopefully warranty will cover it, because I know the bearing is now bad. but this thing sure does look funny without those big tires on it with the S Flares.....

| Maybe you should go buy him that rzr 170. I could be wrong, but I don't see your dealer having a control arm in stock. If they are anything like my dealer, it will take a few days. If I were you, I would get 09rzrs in the mail asap if you plan to ride in the next week. | |

I will know around 9am, they take care of me there, I would guess (not counting parts) that my dad and I have spent around $50K on machines there, they take parts off other bikes to get me back on the road, but if they don't have it, I will mail 09rzr as soon as I can and have it asap... as long as he can find it (left front), but the bearings are bad now (about a month old) probably ball joints, bushings, and who know what else..... on top of that I think I have a rear CV going out... wooohooo

| I'm not sure which end is bent. Front can be straightened. Not to add insult to injury but also check the hub and CV joint on the damaged wheel. | |

Finz....I was going to ask you, How would you straighten that a arm back? Would you bolt the bottom two bolts into the machine and then straighten it? I Was going to try the other night and figured it would not line up worth a dern if I just hammered it back straight. Its bent right now but it would atleast bolt back up somewhat if I just left it. |

Left front, looks like about an inch that it is pushed up and maybe a little to the back, so that bend had to be transferred to somewhere... already told him to add hub and axle to parts list

| I have a hydraulic press to bring it back to horizontal, cut the A-arm apart to get back-to-stock ( laterally) for ball joint location, mig'd it back together after laying it over a good one(other side A-arm) and then reinforced the frame side. Too much work? Maybe, never bent another one. If the frame is bent (at the A-arm mount) and a 4x4/big hammer won't work, take it to a body shop. | |

| Nah chassis is fine. I may just try to make a jig to bolt it to then straighten it out |

| Talked to insurance today... if it wasn't for all my add-ons, (which they take into account) it would be on the edge of calling it totaled.. so until they do up an estimate and get with dealer on their estimate and compare and calculate and screw me... I don't know yet. Right now it looks like New Frame, A arms, Axle, Hub, all the bushings and joints... and the estimated 22hrs labor at $75 an hour.
guess there is a 1" crack up the frame at both joints where the A-Arms attach, not counting the bent frame .... we will see

| I had planned to do the work myself, but with a lean on it, makes it a little bit of a pain.... lean holder has to approve all work .... after it is done before they will release the money, so it would be out of pocket until the work is done... can't handle that right now | |
