| Hey guys, I'm doing a tire analysis for the next couple of months. I will continue to update as I make progress. I'm just hoping to pass along some information and numbers. As far as rims go, these reports will be done on stock aluminum RZR S wheels (when I mention 9" tires times 4 those will be run on Polaris 6" front aluminum wheels) and the rest will be on Hiper (5x2) 12" wheels. Thanks Mark Brand/Desc. | Tire Size | PLY | Height | Weight | | | | | Maxxis Big Horn (REG BH) | 26x9x12 | 6-ply | 26.4 | 25.2 | | | | | | 26x12x12 | 6-ply | 27.4 | 29.9 | | | | | | 27x9x12 | 6-ply | 26.4 | 32.6 | | | | | | 27x12x12 | 6-ply | 27.7 | 36.8 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ITP Baja Cross | 26x9x12 | 8-ply | 26 | 27.7 | | | | | | 26x11x12 | 8-ply | 26 | 33.2 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Kenda Bounty Hunter HTR | 26x9x12 | 8-ply | 26.1 | 24.25 | | | | | | 26x11x12 | 8-ply | 25.9 | 29.54 | | | | | | 27x9x12 | 8-ply | 26.7 | 23.59 | | | | | | 27x11x12 | 8-ply | 26.9 | 28.88 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | GBC Dirt Commandor | 26x9x12 | 8-ply | 26 | 25.5 | | | | | | 26x9x12 | 8-ply | 26 | 27 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Pitbull Rocker/Growler | 26.5x9x12 | 8-ply | 27.2 | 30.6 | | | | | | 26.5x11x12 | 8-ply | 27.1 | 38.9 | | | | | | 27.5x9x12 | 8-ply | 27.8 | 33.7 | | | | | | 27.5x9x12 | 8-ply | 27.8 | 40.5 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | As of 7-23-12 | | | | | | | | | *Was running Maxxis BH 26x9x12 (2) and 12x12 (2) equaling a rolling mass of 110.2 lbs. | Notes: Great wear. Smooth ride on every surface. Front tires push bad both front and rear slide into rutts to easily. | | | | | | | | | | *Currently running Baja Cross 26x9x12 x (4) equaling a rolling mass of 110.8 lbs. | Notes: Wear (Have not had long enough) DO NOT fall into ruts as easy as BH's. Better side bite. Ride not as smooth as BH's on hard packed surface. | | *I have a new set of GBC Dirt Commanders 26x9x12 x (4) equaling a rolling mass of 102 lbs. to run soon. | Notes: | | *Really anxious to try the 27x9x12 Kenda Bounty Hunter HTR x 4 soon. A rolling mass of 94.36 lbs. :) | Notes: |

| I like the look of those HTR Bouty Hunters as well. Hard to argue with Bighorns, but I think I just want to try something new next time around. | |

The Bounty Hunters are ALOT lighter and 8-ply. Derrick Wilson them and I have rode his machine quite a bit. That difference in weight excites me!!

My bad, I saw Kenda and HTR and got confused. I meant the new Kenda HTR Bear Claw has my interest peaked. That and the Pit Bulls.....although I kind of hate to lose power with a heavier tire in the Pit Bulls.

I agree that the Pit Bulls get great reviews. They are in the top 2. I do like the Rocker tread pattern vs the Growlers personally. Bearclaw HTR looks great on the spec sheet to me. Price is certainly better than the Pit Bulls as well.

| I just called DT, 26/9/12 is a radial 6 ply weighs 25lbs for $83.00 n 29/12/12 weighs 39lbs for $112.00. The weight of the rear tire I had him check twice, it's a big difference from the front to the point I'd consider running fronts all the way around. | |

| If you want power get some 25's and the lightest rims you can find. Lowers weight, overall gear ratio, and center of gravity. Win-Win as long as you have skid plates. High ground clearance looks cool but is really for the folks that don't know how to drive. LOL | |
