gates on road crossing rail road tracks at pineville ?

heard there were some gates over at pineville on road by ballfield can anyone verify a friend of mine will be riding that area this weekend i am checking for him thanks travis

If you are talking about the gate that is on the road behind the ball field just after you go over the railroad tracks it was locked last spring when I tried it and there was no way around it.

Stays locked about half the time just depends on the last one through. Many gates have been put up in the area in the past year or so and they were staying closed all the time until here recently and it's seems to have slacked off a little

Two weeks ago we went in by the school in Welch. First time the gate has been open for us but the gate by Walmart and the one around the corner from WLmart were locked !!

Update ---- went to Pineville by the haul road Friday and was not able to go back the same way. A security/guard house has been put in at the coal yard toward Pineville. Security would not let us go back up by the road. Security was nice about it, but said they have had many issues with people making issues for them and the main office said to stop all ATV/UTV traffic on the property. The gate at the ball field was locked so we had to ride Hatfield trails back for awhile to get to the creek.

I was hoping they were going to keep the gates open. I came through the gate by the ball field in July and it was open. I guess they are going to start locking them again. That sucks.
