Sanderson RIde October 27th

Anyone wanting to ride with Diesel, Gasman and Pinkie Saturday? We will meet at Sanderson at 10:00 AM and ride all day. If anyone needs directions let me know. Rain or Shine!

I have to work the next 2 weekends but really want to meet up and ride down there as we talked at the fall ride, please keep me in mind for later dates

Can't ride again for about 3 weeks. Have plans every weekend. Want to get down there and ride though.

Hello Jimmy , Debbie love to go this weekend but opening day of deer hunting season,maybe next time let know!!!! I really enjoyed riding with y'all this weekend , and Bobby D gave us a good ride as always !!!

I will ride Saturday. We rode from Sanderson to the new river gorge bridge for bridge day last weekend. 120 mile round trip

Wish I could make it but I have to work. Had a good time riding with you guys Saturday. Definitely want to check Sanderson out,I should have a weekend off next month so maybe we could get a ride going for then.

Jimmie just told me they have a problem at the well and may have to work on it Saturday which means we may not be able to ride. I will know for sure tomorrow evening. Sorry but can't help it. Onebadmaxx, I think you have been texting Eric and already know this.

That sounds like so much fun - we would love to ride there with you again soon. Also we have been to Gauley Bridge from Sanderson. We also would like to know how to get to Summersville from there but have never been.

I will make one of these rides. Would really like to know how to get to Summersville from there. That would be more local riding for me, as Summersville is about 30 minutes away. I just don't know if I can keep up with you in the 450. I promise to run wide open all day.

Pinkie could you post a address or directions to Sanderson? I'm wondering how far of a drive it would be for me. I would be coming down 64/77 from Huntington. Thanks

Well we can wait on you Hump! LOL There is a guy we met that know how to get to Summersville from Sanderson and he is sending Eric the GPS directions but its a long way. We can do it in one day but you would have to keep up LOL

Sure, you would take 64 into Charleston then go towards 79 North and get off at the first exit which is Mink Shoals. Then it is about 15-20 minutes off the exit. Just to give you an idea of how long it would take you. I will get the exact directions off the interstate later and post them. I know how to get there but can't remember what the route number is. It is a great place to ride.

The best way to get there is come up I-79 to the second exit called big chimney. Turn rt. go half a mile to Hardee's 4 way stop and go straight. You will go across the elk river and at the top of the bridge turn left. Drive approx 3 miles and u will come to a little general gas station on your left. As soon as you pass the gas station the road will split. Turn rt on Indian creek road (some ppl call it quick road). Drive 10 miles. At approximatly 9.75 miles you will come to a white church called Morris community church and the road turns to gravel. You will cross a wooden bridge and 100 yards on your left is a big dirt lot everyone parks.

When you ride Sanderson do you stay on the blue creek side or do you venture over toward Campbell's creek?

We usually start out at Sanderson and ride all over. We come out at Campbells Creek and Cedar Grove. We also ride all through the Blue Creek area where the Carbide Camp is also, if you know where that is because they consider that Blue Creek.

From the little general gas station, I live about a mile and a half. If anyone is interested in riding Saturday still let me know.

That's the same areas I ride. I just start at Campbell's creek because its easier to get to a place to park. Just 2 minutes from the interstate.

HAHAHAHA There are always mud holes to conquer!!!! Jimmie always complains when we get home and it takes double the time to wash my razr compared to the other two.

Well let me rephrase, I hope I can keep up with the GROUP, I'm not worried about keeping up with you, because I know that ain't gonna happen. I top out at just over 40 on level ground. I plan on doing a cam and cdi real soon. I guess this run would be a good test after the mods. If you have to pull over and wait on me, better get way off the trail, because I will be bringing it like I stole it.

I've never went to Summersville to ride because I have no idea where to go, but I've heard from people who knew people that knew someone who rode from there to Charleston. May be some good riding right under my nose.

Hump you should consider http://www.hunterworks.com/ for your CDI. I got my Clutch sheave and CDI from them.
