New tires from STI. 8ply Big Horn knock offs.

Heres the new STI Roctane XD 8ply radial tires. Very similar to Big Horns, but just a tad cheaper.

I like how they post their actual height of their tires. These run a little big on the 26 and 27 inch sizes. I looked at the black diamonds while on the site, and they run a little small just like Bobby said.

Now I'm torn between these or bighorns. I may order some new shoes this week if I can make up my mind.

Maybe I should go with the black diamonds in 26x9 all around.

I'm confused.

Those running the 14's should like the new taller sizes with the issues of rock damage even the mudders have something to work with.

I thought of running 26x9 all around myself,people say it steers better and handles better.when my tires wear out im gonna try it.

I put them on yesterday. 25x10x12 rear and 25x8x12 front. They are true 25 inch tires. The thread is a little different from the Bighorns but look good and should be good on hard pack and rocks and looks like may be better than the Big Horns in mud. We will see.
Ill post some pics later today.
BTW: Discount Tire mounted them for $21 for all four with new short motorcycles valves. I kept the old tires otherwise I would have to pay $3 each for disposal.
