| What is the proper way to change the front brakes on a rzr? Also I noticed I had a caliper that was sticking on the right front. It pushed back in with a clamp but was wondering if I needed to change the caliper? It got stuck from the deep red mud from RAY RAYS trip to carolina adventure world. Will cleaning it up good suffice? Thanks in advance guys. |

| I think just spraying it with WD40 etc should do the trick | |

| I would not put WD 40 on any of the brake surfaces , If its clean it should move freely back and forth , brake clean is the most agressive thing I would use , any oil you put there will attract dirt and cause wear and more sticking . look for scaring on the piston , if it is sticking you will feel a gouge in the piston and see scaring , more than likely you had mudd packed in there and it dried and held it off . | |

| I don't see any scaring. Put pads back on and set screw all the way back and wheel is about locked up. I think I am just goig to order a new caliper. Just seems like calipers will not back off after pedal is pushed |

| Can someone rebuild this caliper? If not I will just go order a new one. |

| I know some of the polaris brakes are rebuildable . I think the set screw you are talking about is a centering screw to center the pads , not suppose to be screwed all the way in . Is one side of the brakes not touching and the other held off , if so then you have uncentered the pads , Was one set of pads you took off worn out on one side more than the other ? | |

| No both even oddly enough. I just took caliber off, cleaned it then put it back on. Also went ahead and put new pads on it.
It's doing better so I am going to send it on to a ride. Should be ok. It was nice putting new pads on it |

| I am going from the Calipers on the RZR I had , I am not sure the 900 is the same caliper , if the pads were even then you were centered , but that does not mean that the caliper is not sticking . Your wheel should spin but the breaks should lightly rub the disk to keep dirt and mudd out . | |

| I do have a question about the set screw. On one side it's pretty firm but on the other side it's kinda lose. Even if u turn it to hold the pads, it's still kinda lose. Just slightly. If there a way for it to be a little tighter? I was thinking about putting some clear silicone over the bolt head to make sure it doesn't move. |
