| What are the pros and cons for the Can Am 800? Curious about the 2012 models. | |

| My understanding is the 800 does not have the electronic limiters that the 1000 has. That's a positive. The 800 also has PLENTY of power and is a great motor. I personally know no downside. Most people want the bigger 1000 cc motor but for WV riding the 800 will get it donwe fine and will go way faster than needed. | |

| Thanks for the reply. Seems that each has there own problem wether it be bushings on the Polaris, lack of horse power on the Rhinos, and I know the earlier Commanders had over heating problems. I just wondered if there were any other known issues with them. | |

| I had a 2011 Commander 800 and loved it. No issues and a lot more comfortable than my Rhino. Not sure why I sold it. | |

| I've had two Outlanders with teh 800 engines and both were excellent engines. The only issue I have ever had with overheating was my 660 Rhino. Took lots of aftermarket stuff to fix it where it could stand some mud/dirt and not overheat. | |

| I've never had any over heating problems with my 450. Makes me a little Leary when I see people who had newer ones and unloaded them fairly quickly. Especially since you went back to a Rhino. | |
