| Hello All,
I am wondering if anyone could point me to a campground with RV hookups that has direct trail access but also has "kid/family" amenities. Specifically looking for a pool but a playground would also be nice. My kids enjoy riding but they need some "distractions" or they loose interest and with a 9+ hour drive down from PA for us I want to make sure everyone has a good time. Any thoughts?

| Ashland has a small playground, it's not much. Other then that I'm not sure if any others have anything like that or not. | |

| Im with Cale,
Im not sure if anywhere else would have a pool. Ashland does have that small playground. You can drive your machine anywhere and it probably the nicest place to stay in the area for this type of vacation. Good Luck and hope you have a good trip. |

| Yeah I forgot about Water Way water park beside Little Coal River and the new Ivy Branch system is just down the road. They are going to connect the 2 systems sometime within the next year. | |

| I found my kids enjoyed the creeks , we did not stop them from throwing rocks ( I mean at the trees ,creeks ETC ) , damming the creeks , we spent hours going and coming stopping at the creeks . They dammed one creek up good enough to swim in LOL .. | |

That's right who needs a swimming pool when there are plenty of spots in the creeks close to Ashland to play in.
