| Ok I sold my Rhino several years ago. It was OK but only had 1500 miles after 3 years and I replaced the axles during that time. I consider the Rhino only OK on overall reliability since axles should last longer. I also had a 2010 Can-am Outlander Max Ltd and sold it since it had reliability issues my 2006 Can-am did not have. The atv had air suspension, front control arm, and electrical problems. Not acceptable. I switched to a Honda Rincon and have loved it putting 3000 miles on it in the last 22 months.
Anyway -- here's the question: What should I buy if I want a reliable fun SxS? I'm thinking Arctic Cat Wildcat or Teryx4. Several years ago I would steer people away from Kawasaki but I could see the Teryx 4 being fun. Kawaski has also added a lot of neat features and I am seeing many of them in WV/ Both the Arctic Cat and Teryx 4 are about the same size. Any thoughts? I really wish I could like the Honda Pioneer. I really love the thought of riding and not repairing often but not sure who offers that now.
I know this post will give many opinions. I was thinking Rzr S but have been steered away from it by several owners. I am amazed at how rare I find a Rzr with high miles -- makes me wonder why...

| Hey Randy, it was nice seeing ya the other day! Seems we are always seeing each other at an eatin place!
I have had 2 weekend trips on my T4 and like it, it's not a RZR S as far as the fun factor. But I wanted more seats and the T4 was in the price range I liked and really didnt want another Polaris. I gotta get the handling to my liking on it but it goes pretty good. I heard the upper front a-arm bushings wear out around 1500 miles and that's about it. We should see!
Let me know if you want to come over and check it out or meet up with me up in WV, we have a trip planned end of month and another one in Nov. Just let me know.

| I might take you up on that Steve. I do see some uses for having a 4 seater. The downside is I don't want it to be boring the other 80% of the time I don't need 4 seats. It still needs to be Colorado capable. Whatever I buy will go to Colorado before long. I'm really impressed that a Teryx 4 will fit in a longbed pickup bed. That seems crazy... | |

| The Teryx 4 is well built and I had a deal on a red LE and was going to buy one but Performance East made me a deal on the Wildcat I could not pass up.I drove a T4 and from owning two RZR's and putting about 13k miles on them I just like the feeling of sitting down in a machine instead of sitting up high and I really bought the Wildcat for the suspension for a plush ride as much as I ride and now my wife is able to go since my boys are grown and don't need her to run them here and there etc.I thought I would be riding the T4 to much by myself especially in the colder months my wife would not go and I know my boys are to big to be ridden around they would rather have their own machine and I didn't think that many people would come with me to ride in the back.I can't wait to see the 50" Wildcat coming out I may would switch to one of those. If you drive a Wildcat and a T4 you won't be happy with the ride of a T4 I'm guessing they are of course two completely different kind of machine which you already know. s | |

| I forgot about the 50" Wildcat. Arctic Cat says they will ship it in their fiscal 1st 4th quarter of 2014. That sounded like a long way away until I just looked it up and see their fiscal 4th quarter of 14 begins in April 2014. That means April or so for shipments. Not too far away...
I'm still kinda up in the air on what to get. There are great deals now on lots of stuff..

| I would go look at both and buy the one that u like. Those machines are different machines. I would think t4 would be a good set up. Plus their prices are really good.
Good luck! |

Im gettin there. I agree completely. Yamaha builds the best one. Just wish they would put one of them motorcycle 4 cylinder motors in some sort of new sport side by side. Thats why in this thread I say go with the Teryx 4. Kawasaki im sure builds a better machine than a arctic cat if your looking for longevity out of the two. |

| I had a 660. It did fine but was not exceptional. The 700 I'm sure is alot better.
To be honest I have no idea what I want. The Teryx4 is a sweet deal new. I had an Arctic Cat 650 H1 ATV years ago and it was a good slow ATV. I do like the thought of a smooth ride.
I said 2 years ago I'd only buy Honda, Toyota , or Kubota. I changed my stuff at home and now have motorcycles, atv, vehicles, and a tractor I rarely work on. I just hate the thought of changing that situation. Hmm -- a Honda Pioneer with Bighorns -- how bad of a turd could it be?? lol

| Just in general conversation, one day, the local dealer ranked these manufacturers from most-to-least reliable. 1. Yamaha 2. Kawasaki 3. Arctic Cat 4. Polaris | |

| i think all the newer ones are getting better but they are not as tuff as the 700 rhino..they ride better than stock 700s but mine has elkas its closer to the new bike ride..they all have faults..pick what fits you best...i like to ride as fast as can in the rough cause thats where i get the biggest thrill and the rhino fits me best | |
