| No matter what you get just remember that you MUST maintain your sxs. Not saying you didn't before just a statement. I completely go over my Rhino before any big rides I go on and if I take it mudding I will sometimes pull the radiator to clean it thoroughly but that is just me. I have about 1800 miles on my Rhino and have had no noteable issues including overheating. | |

| I think Shawn has quite a few miles on his XP. He should be able to give you good information from his point of view too. | |

| I totally agree with maintaining. The Rhino got it's share of maintenance. My Kubota tractor probably felt neglected. My biggest gripe with the Rhino was overheating. The rejetting the carb, adding the 4 seat conversion, and slow rides in dust and damp areas were a recipe for the temp light to glow. The JBS shields helped but if I did not clean the radiator daily and really watch the deep mud the radiator would look like a sheetrock wall and not cool. I really needed a larger aftermarket radiator. I ended up adding a fan switch so the fan ran constantly to keep it as cool as possible to delay the overheating. I watched the temp gauge I added constantly. Stopping to wash radiator would be common after 50 or more miles in a day. | |

| I have a 4 piece kit that you can ride 4 days without cleaning for less than 100.00...running the fan all the time pulls mud in when you hit a hole | |

- I might take you up on that Steve. I do see some uses for having a 4 seater. The downside is I don't want it to be boring the other 80% of the time I don't need 4 seats. It still needs to be Colorado capable. Whatever I buy will go to Colorado before long. I'm really impressed that a Teryx 4 will fit in a longbed pickup bed. That seems crazy...
Just let me know Randy! If you liked the Rhino and never had a true sport SxS, I think you will be okay. I am still adjusting to the pickup truck style seat ride but I do like it. After putting over 5k miles on two RZR's, I was so used to that low seat riding.

| How many miles you have on your Rzr Rick?
I guess Im spoiled by ATV's. I have yet to replace a bushing or steering bearing. My 2006 Outlander had approx 6000 miles and only had the rear drive shaft u-joint go bad cuz I never greased it (stupid). My current Honda Rincon I've put 3000+ miles on it and replaced the rear diff seal and rear brakes.
That's it for Maint on ATV's. I'm excluding my 2010 Outlander Max Ltd -- it had warranty issues and I only kept it a year.
I'm OK with Pickup truck style seats. I could relate to the review that Tbone posted. My Rhino made my right ankle hurt awful until I built up behind the gas pedal 2" to rest my foot on.

| 3100 miles on my maverick and no problems .. Changed two bushings out on the rear and a cv joint that was completely my fault after breaking the tie rod and a u joint but other than that it's still tight as new | |

| I got over 3000 miles on my RZR, its been turned over twice and had the crap run out it. I've replaced the bushings, tie rod ends, and bearings a few times. (The bearings have been wearing prematurely due to the use of wheel spacers.) I put better shocks on it, but most stock shocks suck on all SxS's under $12k. I complain about replacing those items when the time comes to repairing them, but in the long run, I still love it and would buy another one in a heartbeat. My riding buddy has 2600 miles on his 09 RZR and the only thing he has done is replace the rear sway bar. His bearings have no slop and his bushings have very little play and they are all the original ones. He has the lowest maintenance RZR I have ever seen in my life. I personally do not pay any attention to any of that reliability nonsense. Your gonna hear horror stories about all of em. Plus most people think whatever brand they own is the best at everything and whatever their buddy drives is a piece of junk. | |

| There is good and bad in them all and it also depends on riding conditions and how the driver manuevers on the trails! I know some people that could destroy a bulldozer in a cotton patch, but any ways... I have 4100 miles on the cat and just had my one right rear wheel bearing go out,so I replaced both of them and updated to the sharper radius steering which also included new bearings in the front knuckles although the other three bearings were fine. if I change one they all get changed,( still on original ball joints) and I had some of the a-arm bushings with wear and I replaced all front bushings, everything in the rear swing arms and 5-link is still tight as a drum, the only weak point I have found so far after 4000 miles is the steering rack, its not an expensive part but it does take away from the power steering when it starts to go,but I am currently having that updated to the 14 model rack and hopefully it will be better time will tell, but over all I am very pleased with the machine and comfort of ride,I will buy another one when time comes |

| I agree with what these guys all say Randy. Like I said before, I would go and look at them both. Heck go look at more. Buy what you like and what you feel will give you good service. They all have bugs and these things are not designed to be perfect. Riding styles are different.....even steering wheel covers are different. At the end of they day you will be the person that pays for it and works hard to pay for it. Feedback from people here is good. It will give you any indications if there is a chronic problem which is very little. Just go look at them all and buy exactly what you want. |

| I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, so I'm only going to say this and will not comment on it anymore. I've owned 3 side by sides. 1st one was rhino 450, went to rzr s, then got rid of it for a new 700 rhino. Can't speak for the machines I've not owned. Maximum high speed abuse with the least amount of repairs is what matters most to me. End of story. | |

| Friggin ATV sold this weekend. Now I gotta buy something. I think I have decided against the Teryx4 since I want the sportier ride. Likely a Rzr XP or S or an Arctic Cat Wildcat. If I had to buy today I'd get a Wildcat.
So now I need to start a thread on Wildcat's. I understand very little about them...

| 4726 on an XP is good with minimal issues. I've got my eye on 3 good used one's -- they all have 1500 miles or less. | |
