| During the HRR ride i noticed my belt smelling burtn on high speeds and long slow steep down hill runs. Also I started having trouble shifting to low. What i found was the bar runing from pass to driver seat that connects to shift linkage was missing a bolt from drv side. The belt had left residue on the bottom of the sheave and a bolt was broken off out of the four legged carrier that holds primary in place. I was ableto get broken bolt out and have bolts and new belt on the way from JBS. BTW I was using an aftermarket belt.

| New Yamaha belt will fix you. I figured you done that with the new sheave. I have never ran aftermarket belts on anything I've ever owned. Heard to many horror stories. | |
