| Not really HMT news but Jim Justice has bought Bluestone Coal back from 'the Russians', and he plans to reopen the inactive operations......this would include several surface mines near pinnacle creek..most of the Haulroads....the stuff at the blue building...etc...

| It will be interesting to see what gets cut off and what stays open through the creek trail and over to the haul road, and both directions on the haul road from the View to the blue metal building. Thanks for the post...MD | |

| CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Billionaire Jim Justice has reacquired coal mining operations in West Virginia that he sold to Mechel OAO in 2009. The Russian mining and metals company said Wednesday that it has closed on a deal to sell Mechel Bluestone Inc. to a company owned by the Justice family. The company says in a news release that the deal includes an immediate $5 million cash payment and coal royalty payments of $3 per ton. Mechel also would receive a portion of any future sale of Mechel Bluestone or its assets. Mechel CEO Oleg Korzhov says in the release that Mechel Bluestone has lost about $60 million annually on average since 2012. Justice told media outlets on Tuesday that he plans to reopen the company as Bluestone Resources and create 150 jobs. | |

| not a lot, potentially some, I also think as they move in and out of areas it closes some riding but opens up some also after they leave........they have several idled permits along/near pinnacle creek, ive worked on several of them.....they were collecting water samples for a large permit on beartown flats which would suck.....Justice does like the "I love to help WV" thing he has going on..recently purchased the Greenbrier and saved it, brought a PGA tour event....coaches high school basketball....so i think he wont mess with HMT....I think the stuff around/above round mountain just below pinnacle creek campground will be the first area to start up..... | |

| Big G, you know how folks get re-placed sometimes for developments. Maybe they will plant an alternate "drinking tree" for you in another legendary location.BTW, that box you located for me is the best ever and I'm still thanking you every time I open and close it. That "sport model limited edition camo design" makes for great conversations. I am serious, thanks, my friend...MD | |

| lol, they cant cover up streams any more, plus that one feeds a stream they stock for trout.....huge mitigation cost, they would have to plant like 4 more beer trees.....lol...but seriously, most of it is area/contour mining up on top. stuff down around the creek is somewhat privately owned.....surface rights anyway..... | |
