| Does anyone know if it's possible to get from the burning rock to the wagon wheel. Seems I gave heard talk on this before. I can get to the rock from fairdale in a few hours or more by trail, and thought it would be cool to make it all the way to the wheel. | |

| BobT speaks of the Sophia ride as being part of the Burning Rock from the WW ride. I would like to make that same ride one day. Maybe in the fall that can be a plan...MD | |

| I followed a couple a triad riders, we were there uner two hours. They were expecting 1.5 hours, but it was icy. I've been wanting to do it again | |

| I have done it with Decomp and the triad guys once. It is probably 30 or so miles between them.
From wagon wheel you take the road to Bud, turn right on the highway, turn right on barkers creek before the gas station. Then take that for a good while, come out somewhere and ride some more roads. then ride along some roads on what kinda looks like an old railroad bed.
Just download Bob T's maps and it should make sense. | |
