| I rode those trails quite a bit before it was Burning Rock, its a nice place to ride. Once you get off park there is a bit more road riding that there is at the Wagon Wheel area. You can also ride from Wagon Wheel over to Burning Rock. | |

| $60 is pretty costly when compared to HFM. Thats my only hold up other wise I would be all about it. Do they tell the SXSs what trails they can ride on like HFM. | |

I don't think I saw any trails marked no UTVs but just some trails marked for dirt bikes only because of width.

| There are I believe 5 trails that are "no UTV's" but they are pretty short and all about in the same area. | |

| I've spent some time up around the Burning Rock area in the past couple of weeks coming from the Wagon wheel area. We like taking the trip from the Wagon Wheel through Herdon Heights crossing the Barker Creek area and heading up and around through Burning Rock to get up to Coal City or Sophia. Sophia has a nice Pizza joint to stop and eat at! We have rode some of the Burning Rock trials that used to be local trails... I'm not paying $60.00 to ride there system or whatever... There are just too many Outlaw trails around that area that are better in my opinion. I love that every trail says you are on video... | |

| Wow, I didn't realize it was $60 to ride there. Is that per SXS or per person? I have been wanting to go ride there pretty bad, but haven't made it. But like you say, I used to ride on the hatfield mccoy trails back when they were free. | |

That price is for us that don't live in West Va I think it's $25.00 a year for a resident of West Va like the H/M permit ;)

To be honest Daryl, I didn't even pay attention to the name... All I know is a large 3 topping pizza was $10.99 and I was hungry... It's like 2 doors down (The band haha..) from the china or japanese buffet place lol... Daryl, have you taken your Rhino through the tight stuff in Barkers Creek? I've only been through there on a 4-wheeler.

| We went down Herndon Heights Sunday headed to the H&M trails from Wagon Wheel. When you start making your lefts to get to the Pinnacle trails is Burning Rock to the Northwest? We saw trails on the ridges to the North but knew we needed to go to the Southwest for H&M.
So many trails .... so little time!!!!!!

So many trails .... so little time!!!!!! These trails you have to actually cross over HWY 10 near Bud and follow Barkers Creek for a while. North East of where you are talking about.

| It's just riding time up there. Me, Bobby, and Daryl have been riding up there for years. I have been riding up there since 1998. Bobby knows more around the Wagon Wheel than I do. I tend to go off on the long trips. Just about everyweek i go up there I try to hit a new area and learn it. That way I stay away from the crowd's! | |

Daryl, have you taken your Rhino through the tight stuff in Barkers Creek? I've only been through there on a 4-wheeler. I haven't ever had the Rhino over Barkers Creek, I would be willing to give it a try. Which way to you go, after Barkers Creek do you go by Fox Hunter Cemetery then down Amigo Holler to Hwy 16?

I really would like to clean the tight section up with a few chain saws so I could get my Ranger through there. It would probably take a half day with 3 or 4 people cutting low hanging branches and so forth. I would have to say Amingo Hollor maybe... I don't re-call passing a cemetery...

| We use a GPS only to mark the truck/trailhead/campground etc. as a waypoint to start with. What we did Sunday to get to the H&M Pinnicle trails ..... Bobby D took us through the Creek Trail on Friday and pointed and said you take that trail to get to the H&M trails ..... of course we were going in the oppisite direction and I took a quick look. Once we rode back to that area on Sunday I wasn't sure so .... we had printed both the Indian Ridge & Pinnicle trail maps ..... we aligned the Lat/Lon #'s on the maps and knew what direction we needed to go in. We didn't have any trouble running in to the trails crossing a road and then we were good to go!
On the way back we took trails off of the Creek Trail enough that I thought we were going to have to use the GPS because things didn't look familiar but then we saw the old concrete pad and tank and we knew we were near the Pinnicle ATV Campground. Being misplaced is part of the adventure!!!!!
