GPS is great but everytime I tried to use one it would loose my tracks and I would get pissed. I was trying to make a Outlaw trail map at one time but gave up...

LoL.. I'm fimiliar with GPS's because at my last job I was a mapping tech. but I also used a $5000 unit that was pretty accurate.

Anywho, I'd just have to ride it a few times with some of you all, and I'd eventually learn, but it easy to get turned around in big places like that.

the nice thing about this area is no matter which way you go you WILL run across a major road and be able to get your bearings or at least ride the road back to a familiar place.

Mark come to think of it I think I rode that Creek back in 2004 with Wes that owned Kay's Outpost I went with him and a group he had staying with him there one day and he took us into Alpoca and on the way back we went up this nice creek trail but there was some road riding both ways.I have never been back to that area since I would be willing to go and bringing a saw :158:

I've got the okay to head up for a couple of days next weekend so one of my days I'm going to try to clear out a path for my Ranger.

Myself,Geterdun,INDRZR,Chappy,Bush,Thrillseeker & Pushrod will be riding Thursday the plan is to leave the campground about 1:00pm

I don't think I can get there that early on Thursday. Was not planning on taking that day off. I'll let you know! The more I think about it I might just take Thursday off too.
