| I am just curious how many of you have had to replace them? Also, I ordered one today just to be safe. One thing has me puzzled. Supposedly the 3211130 is going to be replaced with the 3211113. Why is the 13 so much cheaper if they are interchangeable? I talked to a dealer today and he said he had no idea about the belt "30" being phased out. He said his parts fische said 30 is the correct belt and said nothing about a substitute. Anyone here have any input? | |

| This will be good to know. I was going to stop on the way home tonight and get an extra belt just to be on the safe side. Gonna knock the dust off the RZR and go play in the snow tomarrow........... Just checked cheapcycleparts.com The 3211130 belt is for the S and is $112.00 The 3211113 belt is for the standard RZR $48.50 What can be the differance?????

| The "30" belt is called for on the 2009 S. 2010 S calls for the other one. What belt are you guys running in the 08? | |

I am sorry. I put up the wrong number. Gunny had the correct info. - GunRunner wrote:
- No, LT, you got your numbers crossed, the 321113 is a stock belt for a standard rzr, it is lightweight and has very small cooling lugs. The 3211130 is a stock 09 S belt, 94.00 is a good price, the new 010 belt is a 3211133 it is the new replacement for the 3211130, it looks almost the same and will fit fine. It runs a little more cause it is said to be a little stronger.
Also, guys from RZRForums has this to say. http://www.rzrforums.net/rzr-s-specific-discussion/25280-rzr-s-belts.html

| I'd definitely carry a spare belt if you are riding in the current snow in WV. It amazes me how much of a load the snow and constant spinning adds... | |

| how difficult is it to change the belt on a Rzr? on my Teryx, you would need a ton of tools, take the pass seat out, gas tank, two pieces of the frame and the belt cover off jus to see the belt! | |

| To change a rzr belt: tool list. 5/8 socket w/ratchet, 5/8 wrench, 3/8'' socket with 6'' extension and flat head screw driver & #25 torx screwdriver. Remove seats and motor cover, remove 2, torx screws on console, remove two 5/8 bolts holding seat mounting bar, remove the 3/8 screws holding on the cover and the top clamp on the cooling inlet. Remove cover. Take the 6'' extension and put it in one of the slots where the rollers are on the secondary clutch and push inward, this will spread the sheaves and then you can remove the old belt and install a new one. Always check for bits and pieces of the old belt and always put the new belt on with the numbers facing forward. This takes about 30 min from start to finish. |

Bubba, think you been drinkin' the kool aid. Dale at DDP says "stock is as good as any". Just wash the new belt with Dawn and shine the sheaves with Scotch-Brite. Not makin' it up, just passin' it on.

Hmm. Did you mean that the top one was your new belt? Because the bottom looks like a stock Polaris belt 3211113. Have you compared the sheave contact area to see if there's a significant difference between designs. I've always thought that side wear and subsequent slippage was the principle reason for some loss of performance and eventual failure due to sustained higher belt temp. I rode with a guy, this pass fall, whose belt failed at 1600 miles. What is the new belt claim to fame?

| Just to let everyone know who hasn't already bought HID headlights. I recently ordered a set on EBay and they are awesome. The brand is xentec and they are a direct replacement no cutting or wiring just plug and go. Took me about 30min. to install that included drilling the storage under the hood to make install clean and neat. The best part is the price. I paid $39.00 shipped to the door. A couple friends just paid around a $100 for theirs and these in my oppinion look better. Great looking metal ballasts nothing looks cheap made at all and the have a 2yr warranty. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Polaris-RZR-Ranger-HID-Factory-Replacement-Light-Kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem25592e36beQQitemZ160409990846QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_7068wt_939 | |

| My first belt looked good at 2,000 miles when I replaced it and the second one only came apart at 3,000 because of the deep snow ride in January at Camp Creek and it was just the regular stock belt. | |

I hear that. Happened to have a new one with me on the ride and gave it to him. Never heard from him since, but bought another to replace mine at 1000 miles.

can you reuse the old gasket on the clutch cover yes long as itsnot torn, be careful if you crank it with the cover off it can suck it in and tear it up. I did that first time, that little gasket is 20 bucks! |
