If we get to ride together sometime soon, I have a few choices for you to shoot! Yea we do need to go on a ride! We have been talking about it forever but have never been able to work out the weekend! Hopefully soon! I may ride Saturday with Bubba. |

I agree man. I love to Shoot guns. About 3 years ago we got into loading our shells which is a fun hobby also not to mention the cost, you can save some money. I have had a little trouble getting my primers here lately though. I shoot Federal Gold Metal Match primers in some of my guns, and they are non existent right now unless you want to spend $120. Guns are fun. Just be safe and pay attention. They're also addictive. I have been collecting for quite awhile now.

I wouldnt pull a gun on him though. It sounds like he had beatem them to the punch.
I may get me a hand gun one day. I have no idea what a good "starter" gun would be. I hear the "taurus" is pretty stout! Think about what you will do with the gun...target shoot, home defense, concealled carry, are you gonna shoot it alot? A handgun is a tool, and some are ok for everything, and some are way better for some things and suck at others. Dropping a few hundred $ on that 1st gun seems like alot of money, but its insurance on your life. You may never need it, but it's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. Tell us what all you want to do with it. Then it will be easier to narrow down what you are looking for.

| I carry a Taurus 24/7 9mm, sometimes I carry a kel-tec sub2000 9mm folding rifle in a backpack, it is really fun to shoot and can tear up a beer can at 50 yards. I also have a .35 marlin, lever action deer rifle, a .22 rifle and a .22 revolver.
here is a video of the little rifle.....I love it...

| Make fun of me if you want, but I'm a big believer in my Keltec .380. Maybe I just happened to get a good one, but it groups very well for it's size, barrel length, and bad trigger pull. I'm very confident with it at legal self defense distances, and it weighs less fully loaded than a loaded 9mm magazine. My pants don't sag with it in my pocket, and it's very concealable. Now if I'm in a bad area, then it gets swapped for something a little bigger. | |

| I usually carry a Sig P226 or a glock 19. Have not been carrying much lately since I work out of my house. Love my P226 though great gun, comfortable, feels pretty balanced and is not a huge gun.
I used to keep a .50 cal Desert Eagle in my truck. When I run out of ammo I could always club them if needed. Just got tired of always being in the way though. So now mainly the P226.
