| I was wondering, I know its pretty simple to do an oil change to a RZR.
I added the skid plates and was wondering whats the trick to changing the oil filter without oil getting everywhere?
Also what kind of oil are you guys running and how much?
Thanks in advance! |

| I just put a pad under the oil filter after I drain the oil, it doesn't really spill too much out. I always just use polaris oil / filter. | |

| polaris now recommends 2-50 weight oil over the old 10-40. I use the polaris PS-4 which is that 2-50 in ful syn, runs about 24.00 in the kit which includes a filter. |

| I use the polaris oil kit... the dealer told me to put the whole bottle of oil in the motor(which is 2 and a half qts) I think it has something to do with going up and down hills, the oil will circulate better. | |

That's strange, usually overfilling is a big no no. When I checked the oil for the 1st time last weekend, it was over the full mark. I'll stop in and see what my service man has to say about this. | |

| I questioned Dustin about this back when I had a 600 and a 800 , both engines there is no problem with adding the entire 2 quarts , but if it conserns you then short the last Quart by about 1/8 of that Quart and add as needed . | |
