| We got tired of waiting on them ... they had the power but not the suspension We have a huge family of riders ... Rhino, Teryx or RZR. I modify everything ... even if it is someone elses ... Why? ... You wanna pair? I wish I could find a good set that would fit our Rhino that cheap!!! | |

Tim Ison is Mr. Smooth Ride! He has the valving figured out on the "S". After riding a couple of machines that he did shocks on. Its like riding on a pillowtop matress! Unbeleivable ride!!

But for those of us who can't afford 3-4k for Fox shocks and long travel these will keep you from pounding your head on the roof for $200. If you don't believe me ask Bubba53, Finzup, Geterdun, Tvar, Beavar, SXSmech814, Sprinklerhead, Gadget, after Bobby D & T-Bone rode with Geterdun they got them a pair. The ride you'll get with these is about as good as your gonna get...go ride with 1 of the guys that have them on and you'll find out they will leave you in the rough stuff!!! I am a dealer for Holz which is a Fox supplier, but this is the deal.

| (Clearing throat)I must speak up about these shocks HOTRODRHINO is selling. ANYONE who is skeptical about these shocks needs to take all that skepticism and throw it in the trash can no matter how much you have raced ATV's in the past or played on trails. These shocks are just absolutely awesome!!!! I have a stock 08 RZR. Not too awful long after i got the rzr, i started experimenting with the suspension. My concerns with this machine is not how fast it will go,but how well it will ride on the trails seeing as i never run 60 M.P.H. in the woods on the trails i ride. The very first thing i noticed was the restriction the sway bars put on an independent suspension. I could actually make opposing side tires from front to rear leave the ground just crossing small ditches at an angle at slow speeds.Well that not only will cause you to tear up your 4 wheel drive if you spin the wheels too much, but it basically defeats the whole purpose of independent suspension. So after finally breaking my rear sway bar, i just left it off and then took the front one off. Of course there was so much body roll to this thing, i sometimes felt i would flip over just sitting still sideways on the side of a hill. So i took the spring rubbers that come with my plow for the front shocks and installed them on the rear shocks to stiffen them up a bit. Never have bottomed them out since and they are still stock shocks. I then added my front sway bar back to the front to lessen the body roll even more and everything was awesome, except for the fact that my front sway bar is still rendering my front independence useless as far as articulation. Well now i have added "HOTRODRHINO" shocks to the front and find myself still pinching myself over what these shocks have accomplished for me. i know i have rambled on alot so far , but to now make this review shorter i will tell you this. I am now running no sway bars at all, These shocks have enough wide range adjustment of Preload, compression, and rebound that you just don't need a sway bar for the front. I adjusted the rebound and compression all the way hard and then backed off 2 turns. My settings are different than most others who are still running a front sway bar. And i now have full articulation in the front as well, with about the same amount of body roll that i had with the front sway bar still on. I rode over 200 miles this past weekend with my step brother and had a passenger with me. Not one time did i bottom out, and in places that i would normally slow down for to keep from hitting too hard, i punched it and ran right through without a problem. VERY SMOOTH!! As far as the coolant expansion tank being in the way of the reservoir of the shock, i found that by simply taking the tank loose (2 screws, upper and lower)And moving the tank up just enough to put one of the screws back in, it brought the nipple on bottom of the tank up high enough to get it out of the way and still have no problems getting the hood to close properly. I failed to mention that i run 26x9's all the way around. With these shocks i now measure a little over 12 inches of clearance at front center. For $200.00, you'd be crazy not to give it a try. Like HOTRODRHINO said , if you don't like them , just send them back. | |

All I did was put some washers behind the coolant tank to move it away from the shock.

| The bolts mine had were short. To do that I will need a longer bolt. I have no idea how to get one to fit perfect but longer so I can add spacers. Also it hits the body. I can have the inside of the body off to hopefully solve that. I just need a longer bolt for that coolant tank. |
