| Any body have an update on the trails at Gilbert since the flood. I have a trip planned in June and may go somewhere else if it is still a mess down there. | |

| IM CONFUSED ABOUT ASHLAND RESORT. THEIR WEBSITE TALKS ABOUT DIRECT ACCESS TO THE HATFIELD MCCOY TRAILS. IS THE WAGON WHEEL PART OF THAT. THINKING OF TRYING THE WAGON WHEEL INSTEAD OF HFM. | |

| Ashland Resort only talks about the H/M Indian Ridge trail system because they had an agreemant with the H/M trails if they built a campground then the H/M system would put a trail head there from what I have been told. Also the Ashland Resort turned over their trails to the H/M system for insurance purposes so you can get on the H/M trails from the campground. The majority of the people that stay at the Ashland Resort ride the free Wagon Wheel trails which are unmarked and have no rules unlike the H/M trails. The great thing about staying at the Ashland Resort is you can ride the Wagon Wheel area and 2 H/M systems the Ashland & Pineville system and soon the new system near Bramwell which will be 3 systems in that area. There is more riding in that area than you can ever learn to ride with all of the unmarked free trails. What are the dates you are riding? | |

| I have ridden the Rockhouse trails twice, although they are nice it is really only good for 1 day riding 2 max if you go slow. I rode the Wagonwheel trails for the first time at the Spring ride and looking forward to going back. It's close to 500 miles one way for me but worth it imho. However with Wagonwheel it is best to have a guide since the trails are not marked and there are alot of them. | |
