| I have an 09 Ranger XP and the service light came on for the scheduled oil change. Well, I don't always go by that light if the oil is still clean so I have just let it flash for a while now and the oil still looks good. Well, the service light stopped flashing and now the check engine light is on. Do you think this is common that it did this just cause I let the service engine light go for so long? Or do you think that there is something actually wrong with it. It seems to run fine. Just wondered if anyone has ran across the same thing or not. Thanks

Mike My service light has been on for 1500 miles,,,,I got the instructions on how to turn it off but have not done it yet....but...if your check engine light is on....I would have that checked out cause the computer has found something... | |

| It has thrown a code , maybe a missfire , there should be a way to check the code in you book , if not do a seach on PRC ( Polaris ranger club ) for ranger codes . | |
