Red neck top for your utv.

I have a a 650 Artic Cat. For two years just kept thinking about a top for it. I didnt like the canvas ones and a real hard top was out of the question as to cost and besides I was sort of looking for a 700 with the efi. I just couldnt come up with a good idea. About 2 months ago we were out riding the back country roads and I seen a full size bed liner out of a pick up by a trash can. I went home and got my truck and hauled it home. I took some measurements. Turned it upsidedown so the bend up at the front of the bed would be down in front of the UTV I rough marked it about 1" longer all the way around, cut it with a sabar saw. Layed it on top of the utv. drilled holes at each corner for black tie straps, and two holes in the center so I could bolt it to the X bars. Got it centered and aligned real good. Marked it again, then cut it again. It looked better than a canvas top and almost like a factory made top. It really works fine and cut down on the wind, sun, rain, and make the utv look nicer. Sorry I cant post a picture it. I ran on to a 2010 Cat 700, and bought it and the first person who come to look at the 650 took it. I think the top was the selling point. I see these bed liners often sitting by trash cans to be hauled away. I am sure they could be adapted to other utv's. (and my new cat has a factory top)
