IN LOVE

I THINK I JUST FELL IN LOVE WENT DOWN TO RIPLEY TO ATV STORE HAD TO LOOK AT THAT NEW TERYX 4. BIGBEN WAS TALKING ABOUT I COULD HAUL JETDRIVER AND ELMO IN THAT THING AND COULD KEEP THERE PO PO'S CLEAN AND THE JACK. JIMBOB MIGHT GET ON OF THOSE THINGS FOR THE GRAND KIDS TO RIDE ALONG. MY WHEEL CHAIR WILL FIT IN THE BACK. DIDN'T LIKE THE BLUE THOUGH. I'LL BE MAKING BIGBEN A DEAL ON USED PARTS. [b]

I posted this on another thread earlier, so here's the short version of my impressions: I drove one around my local dealer's parking last Saturday. They upgraded a lot of stuff versus the regular 2-seat Teryx. Awesome in every way I could tell but one - not as much leg room for the driver. If I had much occasion to have more than one passenger (which unfortunately I don't) I could probably get past that one issue, though, because it is a very cool machine.

I'm curious to see if Kawasaki incorporates the many upgrades they made to the 4-seater (like the doors, more HP out of the 750cc engine, power steering) into their next release of the 2-seat Teryx. Unless I get an XP 900 first, a 2-seat Teryx with the leg room and a dumping bed with all those new 4-seat upgrades would be a hard thing for me not to trade up to!

Was at Great Outdoors yesterday and wandered over to Jackson Co. ATV to drool. Saw your machine. Pretty impressive (big). Go for it.

Looked one over today at my dealer, very impressive machine. I love the seats, and the position of them. The cage looks great. I haven't looked up the specs, but it looked to be the shortest wheelbase of any of the 4 seaters. Or, maybe it sets a little higher than the others, IDK. Either way, it looks like it may have much better breakover angle than any other 4 seater. The price to pay for that is the front leg room. It wasn't so much the leg room that was a problem, it was the gas pedal location that sucked. I think a person may be able to relocate that a little futher forward and up the firewall for more comfort. The doors were very nicely done. If I were going to buy a 4 seater, I would consider this one very hard due to the shorter wheelbase/ground clearance. That would mean more to me than the HP of the XP4.

Relocate the gas pedal, and it would be a great machine for anyone.
