| Hey Ya'll...I was changing my front diff fluid and stripped the allen hole out. I thought that I may have used the wrong wrench at first but after the easy out barely got it out, It seems to be just the steal plug in an aluminum case.
I will make sure I use antiseize next time for sure.
Now my question is...where to by a replacement plug. The dealer want $28.00 for a damn plug. I'm gonna try the local bolt supply store tomorrow. It would help to know what size it it.

| Don't replace it. Get some body to weld a nut on that thing and forget about that allen head stuff. Definitely use antisize, common problem.. | |

Yeah grounghog...I had thought about doing that. I have a welder so it wouldn't be any problem to do that. I just figured that if I could find a new plug for around 5 dollars or so that it would be just as easy to fix. I know it takes a metric allen to fit it. I just don't know the thread size.

| I think that one has a magnet on the end , if so then that will be the hardest part to find , just fix the one you got ..... | |

I just have a big problem paying someone 5 times what a plug should cost. That plug should be no more that 5 bucks at most. Yeah I know...I'm cheap.

| Well the discount may have gotten it to half way fair price and shipping it would of been minimal. I like the idea of welding a nut to it though. |
