| Ok, i have an '08 TERYX and the stock tires actualy did pretty well, i decided to move up a size (from 26 to 27's) and i went to the swamp lites, 27x10x12 fronts and 27x10x12 rears. After a hard weekend of riding in the mountains (i'm not in to the thick nasty mud) i have decided that they aren't the best choice for the type of riding i do. I am curious as to what tires everybody is running and why they like/dislike them. I ride mostly woods trails with some light mud holes, lots of rocks and roots. I'm now considering the Kenda bearclaws or the maxxis bighorn radials. thanks, dave | |

| Go with the Big Horns.I run Mud Lite XTR's but it seems Big Horns are the most used on UTV's from what I see and are good on rocks. | |

| A agree with Bobby, I have run Bighorns on my Ranger and the RZR. I have had nothing but good luck with them. Most of my riding is in the rocks. | |

| I've got the Maxxis Bighorns, 1000 miles, so far no problems. About 5/8 tread left. |

| I have the Green Ball Dirt Tamers. I love the tires. The reason I went with these instead of the maxxis bighorns was because they were cheaper. Also in one of the SXS magazines I had rated them better then the bighorns. I love the tires. I've never ran a big horn to compare them too, but my dirt tamers are awesome. I will def buy another set of these when they wear out. They seem to do the job. | |

| I run XTRs cause where we ride they ive had the bighorns and liked them but these go anywhere no questions asked. bighorns are great all around tire, they are not that good in big mud, but for the type riding you said they will do great. |

| The Bighorns are a all around good tire, they get good wear and are not too aggressive which helps on running gear/chassis parts. They really impressed me at Brimstone. Stay away from the Dirt Devil/Dirt Devil II's Man, I tore up 2 axles and more than once was left sitting bottomed out in the deep mud with those tires. I also run mastercraft glacier-grip radial automobile tires on 14" ITP rims when im just trail riding, or hitting the county roads, smoothe ride, decent traction and about 30,000 mile tread life! | |

| Bear Claws are great, however I don't know how they will stand up to the extra weight of a SxS. | |
