I think it's Karma....all Tbone does is bash polaris....and then goes out and buys one...paybacks are hell.....however....I do feel bad for Tbone...cause he is a smith....I will for Tbone's XP......

| I would actually be happy that Polaris has recalled them once they realized there was a problem. Sometimes these big companies don't recall and we get stuck fixing their mistake. I got lucky, my new XP missed both recalls. | |

| I had the first series of RZR Sprint 2008, I agree with everthing each has said.
1. At least Polaris is stepping up to the plate now that they have made billions and rule the UTV N. American sales volume, but how far and how many times will they step up to the plate?
My 2007 was more fun than a barrell of monkeys when it was running but when I had to towed from the woods in the middle o nowhere, wasnt fun any more.
I am so dumb that I am now considering XP 900 as I was told all defects from 2011 r fixed and no defects on 2012.
Is xp900 recall for 2011 or 2012 and what are they ? thanks, bill |

| So how do you find out if yours in affected by the recall? Mine was manufactured in that period of time but if there is an oil line blockage, I imagine the engine failure would be nearly immediate?
Last time I called my dealer and he said I had no bulletins on mine. I haven't contacted him this time.

| Come to find out matt it would not of made it to the trailer. It totally starves the motor on oil. Travis can confirm if your affected or not. You probably are not. We rode these machines pretty hard the other day. |

Last time I called my dealer and he said I had no bulletins on mine. I haven't contacted him this time. Dunno, but you can't have the Rhino back! Seriously, I'd imagine if you were in the recall, they would have contacted you....but that's in a perfect world. I'd call up the dealer pronto and make them give you a straight answer, as they obviously know the affected serial numbers, etc. Hope yours dodged this bullet as well.

| I just emailed him to verify. Hope not. I agree Tbone, we rode pretty hard at times the other week so I doubt we were affected either.
Did you get yours out of long term storage yet? Looked like you on one of Bobby's video's from either last weekend of the weekend before....can't remember since I was more focused on drinking rum with my toes in the sand last week.

| The only thing I would call a "problem" with my rzr, has been the control arm bushings. The S wears on them hard almost monthly durring my peak riding season. Bad design. Other than that, I've had great luck with it. But, just in case, the insurance is setting in the back of the garage....the 450. When all else fails, the 450 fires right up and never backs down. Plus, it plows snow like there's no tomarrow. | |
