| Diesel,
When you say can't be pulled outta gear. Do you mean when you slow to an idle, it wants to keep grabbing? Also it will make some squealing noise. If so you need to check the one way bearing. I know Pork Chop has had this happen as well as myself.....

| I replace my belts @ 1200 miles (and use low range a lot more) because I ride hard and have had/seen others fail at the same amount of use. I have a DDP clutch kit and love it but it doesn't sound like that is your issue. When you take your old belt off check the one-way bearing for rotation. I bought a new one because of shifting issues at idle but found that a little cleaning got it back to working normally. If it won't go in or out of gear it might mean the belt is still turning the driven sheave(in whatever shape it's in). | |

I know Pork Chop has had this happen as well as myself..... talked to a local polaris mechanic, that's exactly what he said. its getting pulled apart now. you nailed the symptoms on the head. we will see.

After 5000 miles on my RZR I have had all kinds of things happen. My extended warranty has covered it all. It is expired now, so something may change.
