| The tranny on the RZR is locked in H. I disconnected the shifter cable at the tranny and it still will not shift at the tranny (even with persuasion from a hammer). Any suggestions other than a trip to the dealer | |

| Randy, There is a bolt on the left side that you can take out. It has a spring and a ball bearing in there. I shifted mine along time ago and knocked the ball out of the left side. Never fixed it. The 09 and newer only have 1 ball bearing. | |

| Yep , she gonna have to come apart ... Buddy had to do that to his some time back , seems it was like $800 and he did all the tear apart and put back ... I pretty much has to come all apart ... He did say that it comes form putting your hand on the shifter while riding ... His was popping out of gear though.... | |

| I would think of anything you want to do that would require the motor out ( like gusseting a frame ) cause it is all comming apart to get that out ... | |

I loosened that bolt and heard the ball fall down but was able to shift it to be able to move it around. In hind sight, if it were to happen again or someone else has this problem I would recommend that one just silghtly turn that bolt until it shifts and maybe it can be freed up without the ball dropping out.

Mine dropped in the pan when I changed the fluid. I'm sure it was in there for some time.

| Do you still have the positive positions for gear ( what lets you know you are in high or low or reverse ) ? | |
