| Hey guys! Again I want to say sorry for the issues we had this evening. Jimmy and Sandra (the couple that wrecked)...Sandra is ok, just a few bumps and bruises. Jimmy will have to have some surgery. His left wrist is broke. Both lungs are bruised, has fractures in both rib cages, a concusion, has multiple facial fractures and has a blood spot on his brain. The doctor told Curtis that it could have been worse, but he should be ok. Just going to take some time to heal.
We want to thank all of you for everything. Curtis and I have great respect for all of you for deciding to donate the winnings to Jimmy and Sandra. You all are great.
Those of you who want to know who had best hand...it was Chris Bailey.
Low hand was Taylor McKinney
All winnings were donated to Jimmy and Sandra.
Randy Hart: You won a helmet...I have it here at the house, I'll give it to you next time I see you. If you're up at the farm hollar and I'll bring it up to you.
Again Thank you guys for everything. | |

| I wasn't there, I was waiting on the riders at the last stop. But, from what I was told Andy and Rick were the first there. They were on an asphalt road and went around a sharp curve. Jimmy's fourwheeler went up on two wheels and he tried to correct it and overcorrected and his front tire hit a tree and threw Jimmy and his wife against the tree. | |

| Just an update on Jimmy and Sandra. We went to visit them yesterday. Sandra is doing good...she has a fractured butt bone and pelvis and will have to tip toe on a walker for the next 8 weeks. Jimmy, on the other hand, his left wrist is broke. Both lungs are bruised, has fractures in both rib cages, a concusion, has multiple facial fractures and has a blood spot on his brain. We also found out yesterday that he has a fractured knee and his back is broke in two places.
Still going to be a little while before they release either one of them.
We gave Jimmy and Sandra the winnings from the Poker Run yesterday. My mother-in-laws church donated some money to them also. Curtis and I are helping out as much as we can.
Again thank you all for everything. Anyone who wants to send a donation for Jimmy and Sandra, you can mail it to me and I will make sure they get it. HC69 Box 149 Herndon, WV 24726
If anyone wants to visit or send anything to them they are at Charleston General Hospital. Their names are Jimmy and Sandra Rose.

| Thank you to Lora and Curtis (and everyone else in Basin) for putting together an excellent ride on Saturday. All the trails were marked in advance and there were signs at every turn - couldn't get lost if you wanted to. Other than the accident, everything went as smoothly as one of these things can go. Even had breakfast available when we got there Saturday morn - and it was a good thing cause the Friday night ride lasted a little longer than expected haha. We were sitting outside the Basin Community Center at 2am wondering if we missed early registration and last call. Glad to see the money went to Jimmy and Sandra and soo glad to hear they're gonna be alright. We'll have to do this again very soon to help you raise some more money to buy the playground equipment you were hoping for. I'm sure our Sophia crew would be available to ride again anytime just let me know. Thanks again. | |

| We are glad you all enjoyed it. We'll definitely do it again.
Just talked to Curtis, by the way, they are taking Jimmy in for facial surgery this morning and hopefully moving the two into the same room later this evening.
I hope everyone enjoyed the ride as much as we did....except for the accident.

| Yes definitely. But, unfortunately they were telling Curtis that they probably won't ride anymore after this. I think this ruined them.

| Yeah, I was hoping they wouldn't feel that way. But It shook them and everyone else up pretty bad.
Good news though. She was released from hospital and they are thinking he can be released tomorrow. He will have to go to a facility in Norton for physical therapy They were going to make sure he could in and out of his wheelchair to bed first.
Saundra sent me a picture of him...it's on my facebook page....looks much better!

| Hey guys. I just heard from Saundra. She said Jimmy is going to need a special type of walker. Their insurance will pay for some of it, but not all. She's trying to find out how much the walker is going to be and how much their insurance is going to pay. Curtis and I are taking up donations to try and help them out if anyone wants to help.
Bubba53--I received your donation. Thanks a bunch! I'll see to it Jimmy and Saundra receive it.
Thanks guys. | |
