| Just but the straight edge over square inspection hole. measure to belt then push down on belt re measure that is your deflection. | |

| Comes with two washers from the factory one thin & one thicker. Just use the thicker one should be right, Deflection is how far your belt will push down. Use a factory belt they are the best. don't use air tools will bend alum. | |

| I have a new OEM belt thanks to HRR JBS
WHAT torque do you tightened down the clutch with?
I had a friend that is a mechanic adjust it the first time. Got about 1000 miles on this belt and then BIGGEN burried it in bear run n got it wet with mud n water n sand. Now it chirps all the time n seams to slip a bit | |

| Book says 70 ft lbs. Belt deflection is0.87-1.06 inch. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Ben I knew you was going to make me get the service manual out.lol

| I have always set my Kawi belts at a slight squeal while in gear, sitting still. just pop it out of gear when your stopped. here is a great site for these
