Looking at getting a GPs system and just wondering if the voyager was a good system. Want something that can track trails as I ride or follow someone. Then when I get home I can study so I can learn the trails as good as Bobby D. also need something that will get me back to camp if I get lost.

I think a bunch of guys use the Gramin Nuvi 500

I just use my phone, I have an app called MyTrails, I can download all the topo maps for the area I am going to ride down to photo view. I can send them to anyone as a file, and edit them as needed.

Dont you have to have cell signal for that work???
