Ray rays luck ran out today again...CAW ride 2-2-13

Had a good day today at Carolina adventure world.

Yep...127 miles on another damn belt.....did I ever mention how I hate PO-PO'S

If you only got 127 miles out of a belt , you have issues other than a belt , or you are using High at bad times . Have you cleaned your primary and secondary ? Did you wash the belt when you installed it ? I hate you had bad luck but there is something going on there .

This is my third broken belt...Killerskank seems to think that with my 27" tires and as hard as we ride that the belt can't take. He said I need a S belt.

I asked the dealer about a S belt the last time it broke and he said that the S belt would not work on a standard rzr. Skank has one on his and it does just fine.

NOW!!!! Here is the sad part....on take off it would slip and hit the rev limiter if I hit the gas really hard which was most of the day......and I still had to wait on Mr. T-bone in his famous XP. THAT IS SOOO SAD

Yes , S belt for sure . I pretty sure you have issues with the Sheaves not closing all the way , could you be putting the belt on backwards ? When you put the next belt on , crank it up and make sure the belt is comming all the way to the top fo the Sheaves , Clean your sheaves ( You tube how to clean ) . Make sure you don't have mudd packing in behind the Secondary . Somewhere there is something keeping the Belt from locking all the way up , 27 " tires might be part of it but it should last longer than 127 miles .

Yea i am a polaris guy but you notice what was actually pulling the broke down rzr?

I think it's the tires rays rays! They look bulletproof and heavy.

Mis-alligned clutches?

I had that problem with my teryx and the bearing on the clutch was bad and there was a groove wore on the inside of the clutch. had it rebuilt by Vforce John.have nt had any more problems

I have the same tires on my Rhino T-Bone! Mine are 26" and his are only 27". I don't think thats the problem.

U got a Yamaha and rayzor has a rayzor.

Tires are not the problem I ran 27" tires on my 08 RZR and put over 8,000 miles on it and only broke a belt one time.

Yea but his rims are massive too. Heck ray ray take one of the rear tires off of it and scale it. See how much it weighs

I don't think so. I think you need to tear it all down and clean it out. Sounds like you have some junk in there keeping the sheaves from working right. I put 2500 on my rzr with hard on and off throttle as well as a few hard hill climbs and the belt looked good. Unless you are slipping the belt hard on take off, you have something else wrong.

Rayray, just curious, do you have to jump off the seat to hit the gas pedal?????
